How can you still have a Fisker sign and hat on after they crushed your dreams and so many others.
  • @coolpix222
This is a fire sale, bankruptcy is coming very fast. This is a strong indication of Chapter 7 plans. Magna is getting totally screwed. Fisker probably owes them so much money. Fisker is going to keep remaining revenue for themselves.

You not only lost your money on the shares, you also lost money on the car. This is a great example to not be obsessed with a product or company. You are very cool headed to not be fuming at their defunct executive team.

I wanted one this whole time and was looking at Oceans that were 52k, the new prices make my mouth water and I'm looking for the Extreme at this point.

I‘m not sure lowering prices will help much unless they can show at least some idea of how future service might work. The cars with SW 2.0 might work fine for years but eventually something will break or need fixing. In the last video on „Adams everything EV“ it was mentioned that there is a Chinese car named Arcfox Alpha-S which is also based on the same Magna Platform. Maybe Magna can convince the Chinese BAIC corporation to take over the Ocean platform along with the very similar Arcfox platform they already have in their inventory and market and service them worldwide. The ocean just needs someone, anyone, who can credibly stand behind it. A Chinese manufacturer would suffice at least for Europe. Personally I would not risk it. For 45k€ I can get a used 1-1,5 year old Genesis GV60 in excellent condition whose second hand price has also dropped like a brick. Genesis service sucks but it won’t disappear even if they discontinue the genesis brand in Europe (which is not out of the question).

I still might get me an Extreme. Depends what my dealer has to say
  • @OverRuledAgain
With the inevitable bankruptcy, the price needs to come down to 15k for me to take the risk of no future service.

Getting a quote from Carmax would be a great video

Hawk my 181.5K sharss are only about 4K now. Down 98%. Why sell. You have a car and still some shares so really no closure. It’s minuscule comparsd fo wbaf we paid. Might as well ride it to zero on some minute chance something unexpected happens. Hang in there. Lastly, they should have marked down sooner when they weren’t moving them. Denial.
  • @DaBooster
Even at the reduced prices, someone would have to be mentally challenged to actually buy a vehicle that you may not be able to get serviced or buy replacement parts for soon
  • @chealay7251
I just got my FOO delivery on Sunday. Well nothing you can do. You have lived by your decision.
  • @FloridaClay
If they go under the software updates, and with it the delayed features never coming and bugs never fixed, is a huge problem.
  • @bobdobslob
My closure was canceling my reservation I've had from Sept 2022. I'll hold my 10k shares until zero. Not sure I'd jump on a Ocean, or if i could even finance one. BUT a $39k Ultra is VERY tempting.

Henrik needs to say something. This being quiet for so long just makes you believe that it is simply a liquidation sale and the media is right. He needs to come out and say he is fighting to stay in business and reassure all of those potential buyers. Sorry for all of you guys who actually bought at the high price. Same thing happened to some Tesla owners a few years back but hey, the same has happened with the homes and many other items that have volatility in their price. At least if you keep it for life and the company actually makes it, it will probably make a hell of a story and would probably go up in price. The Karmas have kept their value fairly well and it has been 12 years.
  • Made an inquiry on trading in my Ocean One. They offered me $32,500. It depreciated more than $30,000 in four months. Man that hurt.
  • @jamesp5301
The problem is parts. My guess they will be able to be worked on by DIY people or specialists in urban areas but if no one is making parts you will have to hope for an aftermarket or that most parts are renewable
  • The hopes would be to get these to people who are super happy because of the price and 2.0 on it. This could get some happy customers and revive the brand.
  • @JS-yu6jz
I'd get one if they drop it further. I don't expect parts and service to continue but if it's cheap enough, I'll deal with it
  • @RayoDTijuana
They stop production already, lowering the prices is to get rid of the remaining cars, fill the bag$$ and run through the back door, ADIOS 🏃
