Not sure I will ever get tired of watching Vai play For the Love of God.

Satch is almost 70 years old and sounds wonderful. His fingers haven't aged and are still frying the guitar !
  • @hahaheslop
Was never a EJ fan when i was a kid, just couldn't get my head around it, absolute it love it now! 😊
  • @Jmilillo
I have been lucky enough to see both Vai and EJ live within a year of each other. They both performed like it was the last show they would ever play. Truly stunning performance by not only them but every member of their bands. EJ left the greatest impression on me. His tone, his band, his music. Amazing performance in a small venue. It felt more special. No special effects, no ridiculously priced tickets, just amazing talent.

Probably the last time we'll see the greatest guitar players of all time together like this, play their hearts out. Vai on For the Love of God was incredible, he still hit it note for note, wow!!

All three are legend… ❤ !!! All three are genius musicians … Steve vai what a great player ❤
  • @sobellfanatic
Wow - Eric Johnson is BACK! Sharpest I've heard his playing for years. That version of Desert Rose was just astonishing and so inventive. He's clearly enjoying this G3 reunion.

Mad respect to Kenny Aronoff. Dude is 70 here. Im a drummer myself and I know how physical his playing style is. This kinda playing would eat up all energy from somebody who isnt used to hard hitting in one song. Kenny must be efficient af. Life goals staying this fit and playing like an angel when Im in my 70s and 80s

What epic Vai performance ((didn't watched past him-it's work hours 😁)) one of the best Tender Surrender's. He's on fire.

Eric Johnson has been my favorite guitarist ever since I met him in a guitar store in Austin many years ago. I was just a high school kid and didn't know who he was at the time. I only knew this really nice stranger could wail on an axe and he was taking his time to show me a few tips. Texans are the kindest people on Earth I swear.
  • @beerer64
Love Steve Vai's expressions as he plays. He seems to enjoy the moment's while giving thanks.
  • @GS-uy4xo
All these years of vigorous, tireless and relentless effort in my air guitar feels justified - now for the 100,000 hours + to be able to play rests as well as Steve ! Simply amazing🙏🏼
  • Finalmente ho rivisto il G3 dal vivo!!! Assolutamente grandi come sempre... Sono andato a L.A. dall'Italia appositamente per rivederli....Insieme ai miei Figli. Ciao a tutti!!!
  • It doesn't get any better than EJ. No one else can mimic what he does. Magic! I've been fortunate enough to see him live three times.
  • @Sean_Farmer
I saw the original G3 in NYC in '96 at the Beacon Theater and it was an amazing show that also coincided with the Yankees winning the World Series that same night about 5 miles away. It's great to see them doing this lineup again almost 3 decades later.

“For The Love of God” is one of the most amazing songs ever written. Masterpiece.
  • Holy shit for the love of God is amazing at this show! Steves still got it 👌
  • Steve Vai sounds amazing on a hollowbody. It really suits him, that little bit of extra feedback and low end.
  • @brockkickass8927
Steve is 63 and Joe 67. WOW!! And on April 25Th I get to see them both. Woot Woot.
