Meet the Graduate School's March 2024 GradBird Scholar, Aleena Mangold! Aleena is about to graduate with her mater's degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from the Psychology Department. Her research focuses on how messages from fathers about young women's appearances and eating habits can increase the likelihood of disordered eating. She hopes that this research will inform interventions that reduce disordered eating and help women build more positive self-images.
