A talking toilet seat scale for my University of Toledo senior design project in mechanical engineering, Fall 2008. Designed for and sponsored by the Ability Center of Greater Toledo. And if you're here from Daily Dose of Internet no, the purpose is not to weigh yourself after taking a dump. It's for disabled individuals to be able to weight themselves without having to stand on a regular scale.

Wheelchair scales are expensive. Everyone has to get out of their wheelchair to go to the bathroom so why not weigh yourself at the same time? But yes, if you want to weigh yourself before and....after that's possible too. I guess it was kind of a crappy project after all.

It's for disabled individuals who can't stand on a typical bathroom scale and can't afford an expensive wheelchair scale. It also talks for those who are blind.
