Stoke On Trent. Kyle see's his Hero ADAM ANT for 1st time 13/11/2012

This video was never meant for full public viewing back in 2012, as it was just my own memory of the time i finally at last got to see my childhood hero, ADAM ANT !!!. This was the very first moment I seen my hero Adam Ant with my own eyes,, everything went Black,, and I suddenly felt like i was eight years old again,, so excited to finally see my hero in real life, right in front of me... Then he walked out onto the stage and was there, my childhood hero, standing directly in front of me... So when he sang, I sang my heart out with him like I was a little boy from the 80's,, but i sang out of Tune, it was so loud in there, i could not hear myself singing so badly,,, but i was so overjoyed and over the moon in that moment..

ADAM ANT, if I ever came Face to Face with him and had a chance to tell him what I would like him to know from me,,, I would tell him.. Well Adam, I have been a fan of yours since I was 7 years old going on 8 years old, since 1980.. But what I want to tell you and also thank you for is, well when we were all Kids, you on the Tv, on Tiswas, Swap Shop etc etc, you always set a good example for us kids. You would tell us constantly, Don't drink alcohol and Never Smoke and say No to Drugs !!!, and to a little Boy of 8 years old never missing anything on Tv that Adam Ant was going to be on, his good example that he set for me, what he taught me through the Television, then imprinted onto my young mind like a Knife through butter !. But it was many years later his words, what he taught me and the example he set for us kids in 1980, 81, 82, 83,,, those early lessons,,, that when 1985 came, at the time of Breakdancing and the birth of Gangs and Drug Dealers on Ghetto Estates,,, Adam Ant saved me !. The Ferrier Estate back in the mid 80's was known as the worst estate to live in London, what is called a Hood.. a place where people struggle to keep there heads above water, get from day to day, everyone all in the same boat,,, it was on this rough London Estate that I was cornered in a Lift in a high rise Tower Block by two drugs dealers,,, blocking me in the lift so I could not get out the lift. I was at a guess maybe eleven or twelve years old and these two drug dealers put this white powder in front of my face and told me here !!, try this... go on try this... It was Heroin !!!. You know what happened next Adam ? with a strong voice, I said NO !!!, and again they tried to make me take the Heroin, but again with a strong voice I said NO !!!, No !! No !!,,, because in my young mind, I wanted to be just like Adam Ant when I grew up and Adam Ant don't drink, Don't smoke or take drugs !!!,,, so there was no way in hell I was going to give in to these drug dealers... Adam Ant had armoured me so strong as an 8 year old child with all the good examples he set for me as a child through the Tv screen, that the drug dealers could not break my spirit and turn me into a heroin addict, ruin my life,,, they failed... my mind was far too strong, because of my Hero, Adam Ant !!. And still today, I don't drink or smoke and I don't touch drugs... Then I would tell him, Adam... thank you 🙂 Kyle,,, your little 7 year old Ant Fan from November 1980.

This is my letter to Adam Ant after seeing him play live 13th May, 2022... I just cannot believe how good Adam Was May 13th Roundhouse 2022,,, he performs like a man 30 years younger than he is.... and we are all wondering how he does it at 67 ???? Last nights performance was the best to date at Roundhouse,,, A whole lot of 7 year old kids from the 80's who's hero was Adam Ant,,, and now all grown up, we all still love every single tune, song like they had only just come out yesterday... and Adam be wondering Why ??? its because only he himself and his unique Ant sound can take us straight back in time and make us feel like were all eight years old again... he was our hero, wasn't he.. even if he forgets that after all this time,, Plus thanks to him, i don't drink or smoke, because of the good example's he set to us kids on a weekly basis on Tiswas or Swap Shop on Saturday Morning T.V shows in 1981 to 1983, and he made me strong in 1985, when it came time to say NO TO DRUGS when drug pushers cornered me in a tower block lift on a rough London Ferrier Estate and said hey, try this... it was Heroin, but i wanted to be just like Adam Ant, my hero when i grew up and told them drug pushers...
