Love 'Murder At 1600" - we always need more Diane Lane in HD or UHD :)

Great video. Don't worry about the lisp. I went to a speech therapist from kindergarten to 8th grade for my lisp (I still have it when I get tired). I've been looking for The Chase for year's. I'm still waiting for The Highlander trilogy to come out with a blu ray set. Spike Jonze is probably one of the few music video directors to make a strong move to movies. I have The Last Boy Scout and The Last Man Standing in this unusual 3 pack with both movies on one disc and 16 Blocks separate. Lastly I almost panicked and spent $30 on Money Talks after watching your video. I looked at some of my older Warner Archives and realized they usually go back down in price after the first wave and picked up a copy on Ebay for about $20. Great job!
  • Your list made me think of mentioning the 1994 sex comedy Milk Money, I'm super nostalgic for that and picked up the DVD this year. Seems like might be in your wheelhouse. I also randomly thought of that fantasy romance movie Beastly from 2011, are you a fan of that one? That has a blu and I need to pick it up. Mainly a horror/scifi/action collector but if it's a weird romance type thing I can get into it.

Two that I want, Open Range and Balls Of Fury.

The Last Boy Scout/Last Man Standing is on a 50Gb disc so it's not really a problem
  • I haven't checked in about a year but Rude Awakening (Cheech Marin, Eric Roberts. Cameos of Andrea Martin and Cyndi Williams), didn't even have a DVD release. A bluray would be a good first time issued.

I do love this news, and as a collector of physical media I don't buy any DVD's from Walmart as they edit their films, yes they have a great selection and are going whole Hogg into physical media but no way will I get them there.

so, the story with Red sonja was that Arnold kind of had a long and sometimes rough history with Dino De Laurentiis whom he had to win over to get Conan...in order to get Conan, Dino basically signed him to an exclusive contract to 3 Conan movies....because of his exclusive contract, he had to basically plead wiith Dino to get out of his contract so he could do Terminator and other films...the deal was he would have to do another action movie for Dino and do a CAMEO in Red Sonja...BUT what was supposed to be a cameo turned into him filming for a month!

Holy crap, someone else remembers Rose Red! It was made for TV so it won't break my heart if it stays on DVD--upscalers seem really good these days. But I also won't complain if this gem gets the upgrade!

I didn’t realize about The Last Boy Scout. Seems like too big of a hit to not be out there.

Good video. Not sure if you are aware, A Good Year is available as a bluray from Fox in a few European countries. You should be able to easily import it. The Last Boyscout is available as a single release bluray here in the UK by Warner Bros.

How come The Hours never had a blu-ray treatment in the US? It was like a big Oscar player in its year… also the Sissy Spacek movie In The Bedroom

So many movies I love which do not have a blu ray: Distinguished Gentleman Metro Eddie (Whoopi’s movie) Encino Man The Son in Law In The Army Now Houseguest The First Kid Most of those are Hollywood Pictures or Disney in general The Cherokee Kid which I have an HBO dvd of. Chuck Norris movies Hitman Hellbound The Cutter Sidekicks finally made the jump though!!!

Is the blu-ray of Friday the same cut that is on the New Line Platinum DVD? It’s why I haven’t bought it yet. I also want a blu-ray of the theatrical cut of Dumb and Dumber. Did not like the cut on the blu. I have recently downloaded HD copies of The Ref, Modern Problems, No Time for Sergeants, among others, but would like official discs. Will always complain about no Pink Floyd The Wall or Live at Pompeii on these vids.
