  • This was a clear, concise and in-depth video about Microsoft 365. I had Microsoft 365 when it was Microsoft Office 365, and subsequent to that, Office 2016. I replaced it with Microsoft Office 2019, containing all of the Microsoft 365 features and more. I hope you will do a video on Microsoft Office 2019. I enjoyed your show very much.

Thank you for such a clear explanation! I used to just buy the one time software with a new computer but started purchasing the family version of 365 a couple of years ago. Never really got the full usage out of it because I never understood everything that came with it. Looking forward to watching more of your tutorials.

Monthly subscriptions for software is just plain silly. It’s like paying monthly power or water bills. Another bill to worry about. I like buy and forget.
  • @fastingketocoach
Kevin, this video SAVED me so much! I was about to cancel my subscription since I have recently retired and didn't think I would need all the bells and wistles. I was so wrong! Watching this video not only convinced me to stay, I learned about some amazing features that I will now start using on the daily. You are awesome! I have been following your journey for years and love your content. Thank you again and keep doing what you're doing. Bravo!

Having access to updated version of Office programs is very nice, but the big point here is the extended OneDrive storage which is a big plus to consider, especially the family plan.
  • Makes way more sense the way you explained it. Thanks for taking the time for this video Kevin.
  • Before I played the video, I had already signed up for the individual subscription. Hearing you describe the benefit of having all of the updates to everything in the Microsoft suite, automatically, I was doubly sold! Great video.

Thanks, Kevin. 365 is like a necessity now. I get it for free from work but I wouldn't think twice about paying $100+ a year for something with so many features that make your life a million times easier.
  • Originally I felt the same way. I generally HATE subscriptions. I like owning my items after careful intentional thought and budgeting. 365 is one of the few cases that I have come to accept and even LOVE. There are so many great products that you get in the yearly subscription. Also the consistent updates are fantastic. For instance the OneDrive sharing and collaboration is now an INTERGRAL part of our business.

Your explanations are always so thorough! Thank you!

I've subscribed for the last 3.5 years. Its the way to go. Thanks for the video, it had shown me there is more than I have found so far.

I WAS a Microsoft 365 hater, but you sir have reformed me!! Age 67 and get’n taught and my mind altered by a youngster—AGAIN! I’m supposed to be set in my ways by now!! Thank you for such a fantastic presentation! My use-to-be-work location (I’m retired now, but still have a hand in the IT side) are going to M-365 soon from Office 2019, and they are exhibiting growing pains and no small amount of reluctance. Thus, I shall keep the link to your video handy to explain to them the massive benefits they will enjoy by M-365. Thanks so very much!! Ed

Another excellent video Kevin. You've earned a new subscriber. Yes I have a subscription to Microsoft 365. I'm learning loads from your videos lately. I hosted my first Zoom meeting last night with no issues thanks to your videos.
  • @100microapp
One problem I have with subscriptions is the constant updates. Years ago I purchased Adobe Photo Shop, everything was fine. If a new version came out that had something you needed you would purchase the update. Then they went to the subscription model. Constant updates, new this, new that. New file structures you had to figure out and convert to. I wound up spending more time keeping up with software changes, than getting work done. Where did the function go that used to be here and so on. I think you get the point. I don't want to spend my time learning what is new. I have certain things I do in Word and Excel, and I don't want to spend a bunch of time figuring out how to do it with the new updates. I finally junked Photo Shop and went on ON1.

Kevin, your communication, as always, is effective. Having heard you, I am convinced Microsoft 365 has a lot of great features and should be made use of. Thank you so much.

Thanks so much for this video. Great information and delivery! Easy to watch, listen & learn. You helped take the "fear factor" out of this for me. Looking forward to seeing other videos you make.
  • I think if you don't get 365 you need to realine your thinking we've used it for the past 10 years or so, so right from the off. For us, it saved us updating our server every 5 years and we now don't have one but have moved to one drive which is so much better. Since the lockdown, I have used Kevin's videos (which are brilliant) to move into using the rest of the 365 apps and that has changed the way we work. This makes total sense its fantastic value!
  • @FabricioMelos
Great video! Kevin, i started watching your videos some time ago and because your tutorials i subscribed Microsoft 365 for a year now. So far no regrets
  • Thanks, that was great info. I've had Microsoft 365 for a few years now when we bought a laptop at Best Buy. I think a little like your dad. When Best Buy offered Microsoft 365 I was hesitant but went for it and it auto renews every year. I only use excel for personal monthly bill paying and did not know about the cool banking stuff you talked about. I subscribed to your channel and will be looking for more helpful stuff. Happy New Year.
