On June 27, IDF reportedly initiated a re-invasion of Shejaia in northern Gaza, a region where they had previously established control in January. This development marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. The forces of the 98th Division began a major operation in the Shejaia area, targeting both above and below ground simultaneously. As per IDF this action follows intelligence indicating the presence of terrorists and terrorist infrastructure in the area.

    IDF has reversed roles. Instead of IDF attacking and establishing control checkpoints and command centers that Hamas can pick off with Jihadi suicide moves, IDF moves in, hits, moves out, waits for Hamas to regroup for IDF to hit it again, and again, and again. Makes Hamas regrouping very hazardous to them.
