The front window is completely rusted out so we're going to try something that's never been done before on a roof chop. We're going to take a windshield frame and transplant it in the front which will change the angle and create a whole new window opening. It will also enhance visibility PLUS be different than everyone else's which is what customizing is all about 👌

  • I do not know about the rest of your viewers but I myself would like to see more of your previous chops get to be finished work. Continuously watching vehicles getting chopped is starting to get boring. I know you can live without my views but I imagine that a lot more of your viewers have the same opinion. If you are another viewer reading my comment click on it so Chad can see what I am talking about.
  • Its not how quick you can do it, its how "good" you can do it. Remember, haste makes waste.

“Stop talking and make a decision” says Chad. Chad is super quick at biting the bullet. Me, I would procrastinate for a day 😂😂
  • Despite my earlier misgivings, this chop is starting to look so much better than I originally thought it would. Providing a wee bit more forward vision through the front by transplanting a windscreen frame from another car is a clever idea. Well done Chad and Jolene!
  • When I first saw Chad, I thought his vision was art listening to him and watching him fabrication at its best starting from scratch I’m 58 years old now and because of Chad and his crew inspired me to build my own thank you Chad and Jolene and his great crew😊
  • I love the way chads brain works his vision of how he wants it to look and his skill in producing it is incredible. I don’t no why people say he’s doing it wrong ! There is no way of doing it wrong as it one of a kind and you do it how and with what you have . He’s not buying a kit off the shelf and putting it together like 100s that all come out the same. This is true custom car building in it true sense . Basically if you don’t like what he does watch something else and take the dress out of your life . Keep at it chad and do what you want to do
  • @tonykenny4304
Not how fast you can do it get it done the right way is more important
  • Bad Chad, make a small table on wheels, when your an old man like me of 77, your knees will thank you, for not kneeling on the concrete floor. Also wear a dust mask, your inhaling all that ground up metal dust , and zip cut wheel dust, you will get Lung Fibrosis!!!

I like watching the chops because everyone is different and has different fixes my x used to say don't you get tired of hamburger . No because I can cook it 100 different ways .❤❤❤❤❤
  • I too like the look of the taller windshield frame. I think it looks more sinister like a smaller head with bigger aggressive eyes kind look. Looking good Chad and Jolene, keep-er-chooin Hiltz Auto Co. Thank you for your content, I enjoy it!
  • Bad Chad has a beautiful woman and has a beautiful business and has a beautiful bank account and you wanna know why ?? Because he works his ass off and he works every single day and he works hard, make that very hard !!! Nothing was handed to him and he made his mistakes and he corrected his mistakes and as he’s getting older he is so much wiser. Bad Chad and Queen Jolene I am so very happy for the two of you ❤😊 if my son grows up to be like bad Chad, I call it a win 🥇 🥇✌🏼😎

I see now why you made the cuts for the back window the way you did, so I’ll admit when you were doing them I didn’t understand. But you see a picture in your mind of what you’re going to have as a finished result before you ever cut and that’s a good thing. Even though a lot of this is learning as you go I can tell you’ve already learned the tricky stuff and that’s what matters. It’s looking great I love it! I could never fit my big old self over in it but that don’t mean I don’t appreciate it! Ha ha!
  • I learned that being quick also means leaa quality in my work . I take my time and do it right.
  • Better make sure you have a plan to install front glass before you weld the frame in. If not mistaken it is two pieces that separate to install the glass
  • @drich2766
The windshield frame looks great! Nice work!
  • @davidking6172
Brilliant job for the time spent doing it Chad, well done
  • Nice job Chad looking good bro I just hope it don’t look funny with the window higher then the side windows I seen cars like that the windshield looked like the front part was not chopped and you only did the back looks good but I think I would of did that windshield three inches off the the sides would be perfect that windshield frame looks a little tall the way you have it but if you like it that’s what’s important not my opinion I’m just a fan but I have did cars all my life and we are about the same age so I’m no beginners in chopping steel and bikes just like every thing to be stream line I think it looks better
  • There's always going to be haters of patina. It is what it is. I personally love patina and this car absolutely has some great looking patina! It's going to look absolutely awesome when its finished. I live in the arid west where cars don't rust, but I'd still probably spray the entire car with Gibbs. The great thing with Gibbs is that the surface is still paintable after being sprayed with it, but it will preserve the metal. The car can always be painted in the future if one changed their mind and wanted to paint it though.
