This was extremely informative, I’m thankful. C is using Teaching Textbooks at the moment but I’m looking at Dennison for high school as math gets more difficult. Also, I’m glad you talked about grammar and writing since that’s where I feel like I’m clueless. I love language arts personally but trying to figure out what to do and when is exhausting. We do narration and copywork and some grammar but I feel like there should be more to this. We’re reading through the first part of level 5 about Native Americans and we love it.

Dension is also a VAST improvement in our household this year too, compared to where we were last year! I have one kid in pre-algebra and one in geometry.

We finished The Hobbit read by Andy Serkis recently and it was just soooooo good read by him. I am looking forward to dping LOTR read by him in the future. He just brings it all to life❤

That is great to hear about Denison math. My son is going to use pre-algebra next year for 8th grade. Math is a struggle but the setup of it looks like a good fit.
