Last summer we fished this dream weir pool and discovered a whole ecosystem of fish that lived in here. The fast-flowing deep water made a good home for big chub which is where Dani caught her PB from. We saw huge pike swirls around where bait fish were sitting on the top basking in the water, so we decided this winter to fish the pool again in search of more pb's.

    I can’t believe you found my spot I go fishing you should go up the river at leachlade has some nice chub, some carp and barbel if you lucky I only live up the road so shout me if you want me to show you some spot right lines

    Love to get there and dropshot in that weir pool. Meant to be some monster perch further upstream on bloomers bends. Not had any success getting the monsters out though!

    It's a roach for heaven's sake! They are not that hard to tell apart. Look at the mouth.... top lip protruding=roach..... bottom lip protruding=rudd.
