Level 3 CFA Open Q&A Sessions

I passed the L1 and L2 on my first attempt on my own (self studied). Agree with Mark it is descriptive as I did tons of mocks. Tried the same process for L3 and failed twice. My main issue was my answering technique for the AM paper even though I had the knowledge. On my 3rd attempt, I used MM materials and mimicked the way he applied and answered the AM questions and passed the Aug 2022 exam :)

I recently passed Level 3 and could not recommend the tutoring service Mark talks about more highly. I used 2 hours for fixed income, for me the most difficult, and it really paid dividends in terms of developing a real understanding from a recent graduate of CFA program. The great part of the service is that the tutors identify their areas of expertise. For example, tutor I hired was a fixed income trader and really took me into how manages duration across a portoflio and bullet/barbell positioning and WHY that is done in FI PM.

Hi Dr. Mark, I will be finishing all of CFA L3's curriculum by Nov 20th once with EOC questions, learning ecosystem questions, a good % of your website questions as well et cetera. Could you kindly advise me on whether I should start the review right away or take some time before I start the review process. The exam is on Feb 3rd week. So, since the decay rate is pretty fast for short-term memory, what is the best way to go about this? Thank you!!

Hey Mark, at timestamp 47:22 you mentioned 40 hours of live exam walk throughs on your site. I have an active membership for the February 2023 L3 exam, but can't seem to find those videos? Would you mind clarifying where we can find those or when they will be available? Thanks in advance!

Hi Mark, this question keeps coming to a lot of candidates writing the Level 3 exam. Does inputting a formula and showing partial steps to a calculation give you partial marks even if the answer is incorrect?
