POST-WEDDING Q&A! 💒 cruise elopement at sea, how we celebrated, favourite details & best advice ❤️

The last Wedding-related video! After two years of planning, two months on an epic World Cruise and two special celebrations, today we are sharing all the details, moments and behind-the-scenes. I have a sense that you and Benji have what I call the thing. I know only two other couples that have the thing. It is a complete togetherness that will stand the tests and difficulties that life throws at you. There is a look between you that I recognise as the thing. It was a perfect wedding but much more importantly the thing ensures it stays forever. Lovely to share it.

How is it possible to be extremely fond of 2 strangers. But after watching lots of your vlogs I feel you are such a lovely couple . I had a big white wedding but also my second marriage was just me my husband , his friend and my friend . It was the best day xxx

Love that you did your day exactly as you wanted. Me and my husband were going to elope as we both hate being the centre of attention, and just wanted to get to the 'being married' bit. But at the last minute he changed his mind (only child so he felt sad for his mum missing out). So we had the smallest wedding possible - 4 parents and 3 siblings - and it was magical. In the past 5 years we've lost 3 of our parents, so we treasure the memories and photographs of that wonderful day. You don't have to have a huge, expensive day for it to be perfect ❤

I got so emotional watching this in my lunchbreak. I've been following you for years, and it's been so wonderful seeing you grow into the woman you are, meet Benji and develop this beautiful relationship. I can see the love and joy you have together, but also in the choices you make (from your normal videos to the extra special wedding ones). What a fabulous way to celebrate yourselves. ❤

This reminded me so much of mine and my husband's wedding. We eloped to Antigua just the two of us, he helped me with my dress on our wedding day, we walked to the ceremony together and spent the entire day with each other. It felt so much more intimate and more us. I had a little wobble after I had my hair and makeup done but a glass of Champagne (and a tot of vodka in it) helped loads x

Your happiness shines through on your vlogs and photos.

You guys looked amazing, and the day (and beyond) looked/sounds perfect. We're 5 years in, and I still love hearing 'wife' and saying 'husband'! We were pretty non-traditional, too. There was no proposal (I'm autistic and hate surprises/not knowing what's going on etc), we just decided together that we wanted to get married. We bought semi-matching engagement rings, and both wore them. Then we got married at the registry office on Halloween. Just us and my parents as witnesses. We got ready at home together, I wore a black dress and Nightmare Before Christmas Vans, he wore black jeans and a linen shirt. I drove us there and we got lucky rain. Then we went away for the night. Had food at Hard Rock and a drink in a local pub. I cried the whole way through and was just happy when it was over haha. If we could have just signed the paper instead of having to say vows, I would have! Our original Honeymoon got cancelled due to CvD so we eventually got our Honeymoon last October at DLP. To us, marriage is, as Benji said, between two people. We don't really have any friends or family, so we didn't need or want a party, and I hate being the centre of attention, so I couldn't think of anything worse than a traditional big wedding! Oh, and of course, Congratulations again. It's obvious how perfectly suited you guys are and I wish you all the happiness in the world!

We eloped but it didn’t work out that well and we got a lot of kick back from my husband’s family. I look back with some sadness which is a shame, though I wouldn’t have wanted a traditional wedding at all. I’m so glad it worked out so beautifully for you. You both looked amazing! Such a special day. You both deserve the very best. ❤ I think it’s beautiful and so personal the way you did your wedding: you both love travel, and even the fact that the ship was registered in Bermuda ties in even more places! Good for you. I’m sure a lot of people will follow suit after watching your wedding. As a wedding registrar myself, I and all my colleagues would probably agree that the small intimate ceremonies are our favourites. The words mean so much more when there isn’t a distraction of ‘what’s next’ and we find these are the most emotional ceremonies, especially a lot of the time for the grooms! We love how it always takes people by surprise and as you said it is most importantly about the two of you. Loved hearing all the details thanks for sharing and congratulations again 🥂 ❤ xxx

I have loved all your wedding content . I got married 35 years ago this year and I would do so many things differently now if i had my chance again as it was expected to have the big wedding /reception back then! I LOVE the way you did your union! As someone who was married in Vegas (I know cheesy lol) but it was us with a few witnesses and it was perfect! It was just for us and we just celebrated 20 years!! We have discussed a destination renewal for 25 with just us and our kids so I get it! You two are beautiful, congratulations and cheers to a long, happy, beautiful marriage!! ❤️❤️❤️🌺
