They shoulda kept Spider-Man out of the trailers and blown everyone’s mind when he showed up

An underrated part in this movie is Spiderman's strength; his ability to stop Winter Soldier's metal arm in punching pursuit is outrageous.

0:31 I love the how Steve and T'Challa adresse each other as "captain" and "your highness" I feel like it really shows the respect they have for each other even if they don't agree on stuff

I love how Spider-Man very casually says “Oh God” in this scene as some massive object is being chucked at him 😂

"Wanda, I think you hurt Vision's feelings." I love that line 😂 Tony has become such a dad.

this movie was arguably the most important mcu movie (other than endgame obvi) this movie brings so much to the table. the avengers break up, it for-shadows tfaws, it steps perfectly into black widows solo movie, it introduces spiderman and black panther, and it makes you realize this was the last time tony and steve saw each other til endgame

1:58 This moment is Tony just trying to reason with Cap and hoping that cap will see it from his perspective. That’s faint “come on” really shows how much Tony cared for Cap and how he wanted them to still be friends

I love Peter. He's just trying to vibe with everyone. YOU HAVE A METAL ARM, THATS AWESOME DUDE LMAO I died

I love the fact that in this movie they really gave Spiderman the true strength that he has in the comics. In the previous movies seems like the only thing he can do is climbing walls and shooting webs, or his strength varies immensely during various scenes. At the end of Spider-Man 2 he's shown holding an entire building from crashing towards MJ, but when he fights Doc Oak he punches like a normal dude. The fact that in Civil War he effortlessy blocks Winter Soldier's punch also means that he could punch his head clean off his neck, but he would never do it to anyone.

I love how shocked Winter Soldier looks when he sees how a skinny dude easily grabs and moves his arm lol.

Love the subtle spider sense they put in this scene twice, first when Scott Lang is on cap's shield 2:12 , peter sense something before he gets punched. Then right before the blue sign board is about to dodge him from behind 4:22 , his eyes go wide and he says 'oh god' without even looking
  • Seeing Captain America remaining calm, collected, and level-headed despite being surrounded, makes him very badass
  • imagine how giddy Scott was under the mask when he handed the shield to Steve @ 2:16 you can just hear it in his voice "I believe this is yours, Captain America."

This movie foreshadows TFATWS in every possible way: from the RAFT, super soldier serum issues, Sharon Carter being wanted for disobeying orders to maintaining Captain America's reputation in public eye. The more rewatching, the more i find this is legitly a Captain America standalone film, instead of another Avengers one. I wonder how spider man would react on seeing Sam as the new Captain America.
