Magnus: “Dude. I just came here to tell you dad wanted us to be home by eight.”
-
during the entire conversation Magnus was slowly backing away.
-
If only Lorgar had realized that he could change the warp by making people smile.
-
Magnus: "Maybe the Council of Nikaea had a point"
-
The VA really sells Lorgar's half-fascination, half-terror as to what's coming.
-
Lorgar greatest gift his is passion, its stronger than Angrons rage or Fulgrims confidence, it literally set mankind aflame
-
My experience with the lore channels is Lorgar getting insulted, dunked on, ignored, belittled... then Jonathan Keeble speaks Dembski-Bowden's words, visualized by you.... oh shit. This guy is dangerous.
-
This is what I love about the Word Bearers. They don't inflict torment just to get a sadistic kick out of it, though I'm sure they get that too. There's an actual purpose behind it. And that makes it so much more horrific. There's something almost paradoxically scientific in how inflicting pain causes a reaction in the Warp which can then be coaxed into achieving a desired result in the material realm. There are rituals, true names, amulets and tomes of forbidden knowledge. It's primitive superstition made reality. Which is so much more fascinating than the sterile Imperial dogma of "Psykers act as conduits to channel the energies of the Warp".
-
Whoever voiced this just brought it to life. The silent passion in every word is so entoxicating.
-
Lorgar is often be dunked-on for not being the best fighter, or being a runt of the litter. But he's probably among the most fucking dangerous of the primarchs.
-
I love how absolutely insane he is but also terrifyingly coherent.
-
Man, when Lorgar fell, he fell with every last fibre of his being, channelling his every last shred of self over to the worship and service of the Ruinous Powers, as only he could. It was his realisation of purpose that he embraced as completely as he once embraced service to the God-Emperor... ironically proving his nihilistic brother Curze correct; "Death is nothing compared to vindication"
-
That was fantastic. Lorgar sounds spot on. Soft voice, but still powerful. I always like it when I hear something from the Primarchs, and the voice sounds just right. I always believed Lorgar had a soft, pleasant voice, one you wanted to listen to, like a pastor's or a diplomat's.
-
That...was an astonishingly good voice and read for Lorgar. Holy hell.
-
that voice crack when he says million million gives me shivers and adds weight to the magnitude of the sheer numbers of deamons
-
The best "Moustache Twirling" moment in all of 40k for sure. Keeble captures Lorgar so perfectly, on the verge of religious hysteria, borderline (?) madness. I do think this video misses out on the best part of that scene though, just a few moments later. "That, is the Blessed Lady." "You built two..." "Oh no. I built three."
-
This was all really well done and the art and music was beautiful my dude. I honestly really love how in bliss Lorgar looks and sounds as he's describing what he's doing. Which is essentially "Look Magnus, look at all of this genocide and wanton slaughter, Angron and our legions are committing and going to commit! Isn't it wonderful?" It really shows just how much Lorgar fell, a man who used to care for mankind and want to raise everyone up to believe that his father was a God and that they could all be like him to a mass murderer braying at his restraints and sanity letting his sons, his own sons become hosts to nightmares and unleashing them upon helpless people. Top notch work my dude
-
I love the part when he says "Tell me you feel it"- the tone Keeble puts on the line, something between begging and demanding, really makes it feel like Lorgar is almost seeking validation in his beliefs from Magnus.

LORGAR: Monologues Magnus: "Brother, did you forget to take your medication again?"

I might not be the biggest fan of Lorgar but god damn this is a stunning piece of work! …Two months later and all of a sudden I have a growing Word Bearers army. I swear this video planted seeds of chaos.
