I seriously can't believe we live in a time when people vote to save human lives.

Germany, Hungary and Austria on the wrong side of history once again...
  • @aliancemd
Germany should be embarrassed of themselves, having gone through a similar regime and history themselves to then not vote to stop this
  • @ponzitizen
Can someone please explain why UN sees the need to vote on something so universal as Protection of citizens and upholding legal and humanitarian obligation ... Should this not be the non-negotiable rule of the UN...
  • @MamaMama-vd4re
We Will remember those who abstained BUT we will never forget those who voted NO.

UKRAINE , ISRAEL , USA - SHAME ON YOU !
  • This is why it sucks to be the UN because whenever anything substantive is going on all you get to do is object and vote, then object and vote again, but the world’s great powers just keep barreling forward with whatever they deem to be right, right or wrong.

Even china japan korea on the same side this time , rarely...

Ukraine is voting against the ceasefire? Well, then Russia shouldn't stop what it is doing right now.
  • The UN may not be powerful politically, but surely they are powerful in terms of boycotting as a block so as to avoid repercussions? Just a thought.

I like how my country voted yes the first time (last round) and abstained for no reason on the 2nd 👍 True incompetence 🇲🇼😭
