As someone who lives close to Mt. Hayes, we see UFO’s and strange lights all the time. It’s absolutely beautiful when you drive out that way, but extremely eerie, as if someone is watching. Another excellent episode, WF!

I keep coming back and rewatching this episode and this is probably the best episode of the Why files ever!

In your video about the Denver airport I mentioned my grandpa who did work for the Navy that none of my family knows about. He spent years in the arctic working on the DEW line, worked in Cheyenne mountain, had something to do with the Denver airport and the most mysterious thing he did happened immediately after the end of WWII. The destroyer he was on was ordered to drop him off in Alaska where he spent the next three years alone in the mountains. My grandma had pictures of him with a huge beard and wearing furs with his rifle and a really old snow cat ATV. My grandma even had an old newspaper clipping of a short article about him that talked about how he spent years alone in the Yukon. Mentioning the supposed alien base in Alaska brought it to mind. To this day we have no idea what kind of work he did for the government. But towards the end of his life he became super paranoid. Had guns and crates of MREs stashed around his property. He moved himself and my grandma to the middle of nowhere at the base of the Rockies in Colorado. He always talked about "being prepared" and"surviving the inevitable" and weird stuff like that. He was a mystery up to his last breath. He talked about "the men with no faces" as he was dying. Said he saw them at the foot of his bed. Kept asking their names and why they were there. Weird stuff man. I'd give anything to know what he apparently knew.

I just have to say.....the internet is a cold, volatile place. But to see the amount of positive energy surrounding this community of knowledge seekers why files has created is absolutely amazing! Gives me hope in humanity ❤️ keep up the amazing work WF's and lets continue to promote positivity and love towards one another!
