This class is designed to demonstrate the successful components of a comprehensive water distribution system flushing program coupled with an effective valve exercising plan. An effective program provides benefits ranging from improved delivered water quality to increased valve shutdown reliability during emergencies. These programs also serve to satisfy the regulatory compliance requirements regarding dead-end flushing, storm water discharge compliance and valve maintenance best management practices.
