  • Hopefully this one was worth the wait! Thank you all so much for tuning in! Just as a reminder, please be respectful to the family in the comments.
  • My stress level is going up just looking at all the clutter. Cut the kids toys by 80% or more. Less to corral. Great redesign!
  • @sjones4668
Great job. Just removing the clutter alone felt very freeing. Great design!
  • @vickicee6815
I love the small apartment makeovers! It's more challenging to design than a larger space and many designs require custom furniture. But yours is completely doable for everyone and I love that!
  • I love how sensitive you were to the budget and constraints of the viewer. It was an incredibly challenging design task you took on with the space, needs, existing finishes, and budget constraints. This is a fantastic transformation for a theoretical budget of $6,500!
  • @mikalaybourn
Even animated renders now! Amazing work, Daniel! This just adds to the feeling of exploring the space
  • @TanBurishere
Great job! The storage solution alone is great especially with two young children. So fresh and open!
  • Each video continues to deliver increasingly higher-quality content. Simply amazing! I should resubmit a request to redesign my tiny office.
  • Loved the dining table concept and the rearranging of the master bed. Too good !!
  • @ilibertyi
OMG....This is incredible!! I wish I wish you could redesign my 2100SQ home where I live and care for my 89-year-old parents. I dream of one day having a Wabi Sabi interior that is serene and beautiful with clean lines throughout. You are a master designer!
  • Just want to say I love your videos and get super excited when a new one pops up. I'm planning a remodel of my house and you've literally flipped the script on what I thought was possible. Thank you 🙏🏻 ☺
  • @PrinceDuCiel7
I Love these videos. They’ve made me decide to stop searching for a bigger place I can’t afford. Instead I’ll save up some money and renovate my existing space to be more efficient in its use. I’m super excited about it! Even if the eventual need to temporarily move out with six cats will be daunting. 😂

Wow! You've done an incredible job with a space that seemingly had it's limitations. This is what I love about good design; it not only solves the problem on a practical level, but also a pyschology one. This design seeks to alleviate stress around clutter (hello parenthood!) and trying to maintain a clean, efficient environment also.Love that you've not only designed the space, but were sensitive around budgeting as well as pointing the couple in the direction of how to DIY the storage area themselves. Only thing missing from this video...an update from the couple to see if they enacted the ideas. Hope you can get an update from them, otherwise an absolutely beatiful job!

This is soooo good! This is exactly our problem with our tiny flat in London. What I found amazing was that just by shifting some of the furniture in the bedroom, you could completely change the quality of their wfh life! I wish we saw what you did for toy storage though in the kids' room (definitely need some tips for that).
  • Fantastic as usual. I would prefer (as a flat owner) a bit smaller dining table for 6 and a separate TV cabinet in different color, to avoid the whole living area feel like a huge extended kitchen. Also with such a small space I would rather pick white furniture and light kitchen color.
  • @Alex75990
This was one of your best redesigns so far Daniel! I really love your work with this apartment and I'm looking forward to your next videos. Please also stick to the video animation of the final design - this helps so much to get a real feeling of the living room and the actual size of the elements!
  • @LumiFlake
Amazing desing! I was really pleased that my solution for having a very large table with a bench is architect approved 😄The table gives so much more workspace even when taking more squarefootage on the floor. I agree that removing the clutter is the key that can even bring in a bit more money to the budget.
  • As a UI/UX designer living in a 1 bedroom condo I found this episode really interesting. Since I went to design school but in a different discipline, you still manage to surprise me with solutions I wouldn't have thought about. Great channel!
