When interpreting emotion and other qualities in music, performers seldom play exactly on every beat; expressive, flexible rubato may be used at times. Typically, every beat of a musically expressive performance does not align exactly with each click of a #metronome

Camilia, sometimes when I start playing your vids I think I have the player set on 1.5x tempo, you play SO FAST! Holy cow, smoke comin’ off the sticks. Your speed, skills, feel and ideas are truly amazing. Also, you have a very pleasant face and demeanor, and I see increasing comfort on the camera. Thanks for the videos!

Your crazy.. I love it.. I watch so many drummers. You stand out!!! You can play any style and any given moment... Wish I was half as good as you.. but as a drummer that's deaf in my left ear kinda messes with me by it I will not stop even if I went completely deaf....music is win!!!!!

Hello , I admire your drumming skills especially your hand speed. How long are you playing drum .

I’m new at drumming and my church threw me in our praise band after only one month of teaching myself to play. I’ve never picked up a drum stick in my life before then. It’s been three months now and I’m learning or trying to learn coming into a song on time and dropping out in time and not coming back in upside down or on the wrong beat. Do you have any tips? How did you learn this when you began drumming? I love your videos and your techniques. Thank you
