Putting politics aside, it's disheartening how many people don't have any empathy for a man who lost his wife and a child in a car accident, lost a son to cancer, and has a son who is a recovering drug addict.❤

The charges are for illegal purchase and possession, NOTHING ELSE, no criminal charges. And, the prosecutor said that he should suffer the same consequences as EVERY OTHER charges under the same circumstances. Remember, LESS THAN 1% REACH TRIAL

so he didn't brandish it, it wasn't used in the commission of a crime... this should be probation at worst, i know habitual drunks been convicted half a dozen times plus and they still didn't do any time.

Disobey 2 subpoenas while concealing information about a coup attempt and get sentenced to 4 months in jail. Or if you are in Congress, you won't be charged for it at all and can still be on committees that issue subpoenas and receive National Security information.
