I gave this gorgeous fantasy/romance another watch several weeks ago, and found it delightful. I particularly enjoyed the performances of Joseph Cotten and Ethel Barrymore. After watching it, I kept coming back to the idea of doing something with the song "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane. It seems like that song has been bandied about and used practically everywhere lately. Am I the only one who's noticed that? Anyways, I thought this works because both the song and the movie both boast a haunting, ethereal quality. And so, this short little video happened. "Portrait of Jennie" is a lovely little film that deserves to be rediscovered by a wider audience.
