  • Love listening to these stories because it helps me take off everything that's happening between work and school
  • The fact that school shooting were rare back then a decade ago in the 2010’s was so freaking wild

I like Lockdown stories because it reminds me of lockdowns we had. Our practice ones were messed up because the science teacher had a supersoaker, if he caught you in the hallway, he would spray you with water and then take you to the office and they gave you a talking to. A girl who once went out to 7-11 on spare came back right when one started and ended up soaked. In hindsight, it was messed up, but after the first lockdown when that happened, people took it more seriously and no one was got by Mr. G and his supersoaker

Thanks bro can't wait to listen to this!My favorite stories are lock down, home alone, and abandoned house/places horror stories. I think those would be pretty interesting to see on here.

The right thing to do is in story #7. I hopped around the state a bunch in my youth and as a result attended many different elementary schools. Each one had someone remind us that in such event of lockdown we better scram to the nearest open classroom if we were out in the hall for whatever reason. Doesn't matter if it's your class. Just don't be exposed. This lasted up until early high school years. We only had drills though... for the most part. It was 90s-early 2000s so there weren't as many lunatics busting into places they shouldn't be at that time. Okay, so twice was the max, and only because (may be rumor, you know kids) 1) someone had been suspected of having drug paraphernalia so drug dogs had to come in and search... and 2) someone had a Newton's Cradle ticking in their locker and someone thought there was a bomb. This was (I think) a little after 9/11/2001 so you don't need me to tell you how paranoid people were. Twice it happened in the span of... what, 13 years? It was scarier to get lost while out on a field trip.

I know what I'll be listening to tonight when I get off!! Edit: Just wanted to add, I appreciate the fact that the knocking sounds in the background are softer and a lot less. I love them because they are immersive but, back in the day, those knocks used to wake me up because I thought people were really knocking at my door 🤣

I love your videos. You always have good unique stories. I have one suggestion for you. I notice you abruptly end the background sounds at the end of your videos. This seems to cause me to wake up if I've fallen asleep while listening. So I was wondering if you could make your background sound slowly fade away instead.
