  • Let's be honest, Minecraft Dungeons was way more of a legend than Minecraft Legends ever was

Mojang: creates awesome game Also Mojang: ghosts the entire player base

Minecraft dungeons if they added mod📈📈📈📈📈📈📈📈
  • My favorite thing about Minecraft dungeons is the bug where a black box pops up on your screen and then it just perpetually loads. And the message on the bug tracker that says "We won't be fixing it, figure out how to fix the issue yourself" is the cherry on top.

I got that game on my birthday(basically about a month after it released) and I loved it to death. Even though Jungle and Winter DLCs gave my PC a stroke, I still loved it. Who here remembers when the game only had a Wandering Trader and Blacksmith shops in the camp?
  • Honestly, the Heart of Ender would make a great third boss for Minecraft. They should slowly start incorporating content from the spinoffs into the main game (outside of mob vote)

I miss the days when a game could come out, be played, MAYBE get DLC eventually, and then be done. Now suddenly if they stop being updated they're just dead and its treated as some horrible thing. If people enjoyed the game then replaying it every once and a while should be enough. But nooo they had to add a battlepass. :/
  • @Slurpmaster9009
Me and my dad would play this during covid. We would stay up all night grinding for new weapons, and we beat every dlc very quickly. It's sad to see how quickly the game died
  • @04AMofficial
Accurate and well made video, that pretty much sums it up! It's a real shame that with all the potential it had, it was abandoned like this...

Glad I was helpful! Minecraft Dungeons was a very fun game. It had its weird quirks and that's what made it fun. There's no denying that it would've been something much greater had it received more updates, but sadly there are many things that come into play, such as time constraints and development costs. Nobody should blame the developers for not extending the game's lifespan any further than they already have, as that was not planned at all and they've already tried. From their perspective, it was complete, and that is completely understandable. I'll forever be sad about what it could've been though lol, because I genuinely think the game had a lot of potential. Also I'll never understand why they took 8 months to announce the discontinuation of the game
  • @TheCounterspell
I’ve never played dungeons but maybe a good idea would be player-made community levels, short challenges that people could make and share for free.
  • @aarav6947
This game reached it's natural cycle of development, and besides a few bugs there wasn't much they could have added tbh. I've played this game since launch and absolutely love it, and I still understand why they stopped updating it. Also, the game didn't really die, its growth just slowed. It had 10M players in 2022 and 23M when it was discontinued in 2023 if you need proof
  • Minceraft's dungeons might be dead... But the ost will always live on. Imo I think Minecraft dungeon's OST is easily better than minecraft's current (modern day OSTS) if you loved C418 or IDM or you're simply an Ambient music enjoyer in general I think every album is worth giving it a listen. The ost for a lot of the osts reminds me of retro Minecraft a lot, the themes make every single DLC/level feel *unique. Howling peaks makes use of the shepherd's tone, which is an audio illusion that creates an "ascending/descending" effect. Flames of the nether has savage almost tribal drums throughout the ost, or alien howling ambience. Echoing void is downright ALIEN unfamiliar, experimental, grating and uncomfortable to listen to, which in a funny way immerses you further as you explore the strange world of the end. Please give all of the OSTS a listen if you can, Peterhont is the absolute GOAT I guarantee you wont be disappointed.
  • @Cottonthefox
heck, minecraft story mode and dungeons are both better then legends ever would of been
  • @AstroNerdBoy
Interesting video, but your use of the word "toxic" irritated me. People vetting their frustrations isn't "toxic".
  • @EmptyYEET
Mc Dungeons is actually amazing. I find it infinitely replayable and fun cause of the insane stuff you can do. Massive dmg builds. Infinite hit speed. Ultra powerful soul builds. Its just fun to see big numbers appear really fast. Its honestly massively underrated Not even mentioning the enemy designs, dimensions, dlc and structures. Just look at the Redstone Monstrocity, its cool as f*ck. The Jungle Abomination, the End and Nether look awesome. It straight up feels like a fan game and not minecraft at all
  • @thsxi
Let me guess, it was abandoned for legends than then failed
