My top 3 traits are I am unique, creative, and willing to learn. There is also a quote implanted on a rock by a playground not far from where I live that says, "we don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." - George Bernard Shaw.
  • Hello Julia!! Shifter here! Great video! I love these tips! Come to think of it, I am surprised you didn't mention exercise or get out in nature. It could be a simple 5-minute walk. So that's one I would add! I think I am going to work on managing my phone usage and turning off notifications. 1. Make sure we are not discounting the small stuff. 2. Listen to classical Music ( I LOVE Classical music too - especially film scores.) 3. drink more water 4. learn to deep breath 5. Assume the best in others 6. Let yourself play 7. To spend more time with people you love 8. Send a text to someone and tell them that you are thinking about them. 9. To listen to uplifting music 10. To watch a funny movie (TV show, video, listen to something funny, memes, cartoons) 11. Laugh at your own jokes 12. Turn notifications off on your phone. 13. Put your phone in another room. 14. Smile at the people you pass on the street (Or say Hello) 15. Send a card with money in it 16. To stand in a cold shower for 30 seconds 17. Get rid of things you don't use 18. Use your best things now 19. To volunteer 20. Go get a hug 21. To the darn thing you have been avoiding 22. Plan something you can look forward to 23. Name 3 of your strengths (I am a good listener; I have art and computer skills) 24. To give less hoots 25. Don't believe everything you think (Your thoughts aren't always truths or facts) 26. Hold the door open. (*Bonus*) And to anyone who read this - remember always that you are worthy and valued. Sending a virtual hug to anyone who needs one! ❤

I love eveything you have to say in every single video you make. I wonder if the classical music made you a great speaker :).

Really well done! The cold Shower is one I recently started doing and it really works. The one I would add to this list (and maybe it's not small) is "Find your passion". You MUST have a passion. You can't cop out and say "My kids" or "my family" or "hanging out with friends". Those are all of our passions. I mean a REAL passion that you could do alone. Here is the trick. Often people get confused about what is or is not a passion. They think it's a passion but here is how you know something is a true passion. Does your excitement to do this thing (alone) increase at the thought of plastering it all over social media? If the answer is yes, then this may not be a true passion. A true passion is something you love to do and could care less if you can post it on social media or not. All of us have to find that thing! When the wife and kids are out of town visiting their parents you can't wait to get into "your thing". That right there is the key to a happy life:)
