As of 2023, Merdeka 118 is now 98% complete. And recently, a Russian couple ilegally climbed the tower and took a dangerous selfie on the highest tip of the 679-meter structure! Watch here: https://youtu.be/9HsoZmqR9xc

As a Filipino Architect, I used to work as Design/planner in Kuala Lumpur from 1999 to 2001. I enjoyed my stay there for 2 years. I like the people, the place, food and very cheap standard cost of living. I missed Malaysia. I missed my Malaysian friend Architect Mr Tunku Zainol.
