I think the number one money-saver that you mentioned was booking the next cruise onboard. We got an amazing price for our next cruise by doing that. And to address concerns about MSC's internet reputation, our experience was wonderful. I think that maybe MSC experienced a rough learning curve as they've entered into the cruise industry, but they've been learning fast. They're our first choice in cruises.
  • Thank you for all the great info! Super excited, we are heading out of Orlando on 4/9 :)

Great tips here, and completely agree with all of them. The topic of status match is good - I often find companies I didn't even realise had a loyalty programme will loyalty match, so you can jump straight to the top with your first cruise. Virgin's a good example - they'll make you 'top tier' if you're top with MSC!

I just booked a 4 night to Bahamas with the 40% off sale on the MSC Divina including a deluxe balcony, easy plus drinks, wifi and a loyalty match for less than $1000. $918 to be exact and not to mention a $99 down deposit is absolutely AMAZING!!! This will be my first MSC cruise in May and i’m definitely ready. I barely unpacked from my Carnival cruise last month 🛳️😎
  • Taking our first MSC cruise for two weeks in the Caribbean starting next month. We are SOOO EXCITED! Will let you know how it goes.
  • If you can do without the pay dining options just eat in the main dining room and buffet for free. However if you want to save on the pay dining pre book it. There is a steak house, seafood restaurant, taco place, Sushi, Tempanyaki etc. The Cirque shows cost $12 pre cruise and can sell out. Msc has good entertainment. Research your ports online book your own shore excursions or use a local taxi, prices might be per cab rather then per person.
  • Is it cheaper to get spa deal on day of embarkation or on msc app before cruise on seascape

Just finished a cruise on this boat and unless you have cabin credits to apply to excursions they are at least double priced vs DI Y

Noone ever mentions that on short 4 day 3 night cruises the drink packages arent available to purchase in advance. Why is that and is there an option to purchase a drink package at a discount price once on board?

11:00 I've heard from many people who have been on a msc cruise and they have all said you CAN bring on up to 24 cans of pop or 1 bottle of wine or alcohol per person. Guess I'll find out when i book my cruise.

Laundry on a longer cruise is a pain. No laundramats!

In November I'm having a 7 night cruise with my parents on the new MSC EURIBIA. The only bad thing is that when you get the drink package, you need to get them for all. I don't drink tea or coffee, so I need to bring my Soda Stream juice and make my drink myself. I read that you don't have Coke machines for all day free drinks. Only juice at breakfast and the rest of the day just milk and water.

I gathered some hacks from your video, however there was one of your comments regarding "Bottled Water" was incorrect. On the (9) MSC cruises we have taken, we have NEVER paid for the bottles of water with the "WiFi & Drink" package. Maybe water does not come with the entry tier of the drink package. 🤔
  • Why does msc advertise free drinks, & wifi when it's approx $300 more than the regular balcony
  • Does one need a passport to go from port Canaveral to Ocean Cay??
  • can we use mobile phone hotspot for the internet while in the cruise?
