In this tutorial I show you how to tie a snake knot. This is an easier method when compared to the reinforced snake knot. This knot has many uses and can be used in bracelets, lanyards, dog leashes, and even zipper pulls!

You can get extra creative and incorporate this knot into macrame projects as well. This one is very common in paracord projects, so it is a great knot to learn.

Well I can tell you one thing, you are the only one I’ve came across on here that explained it in such a way that was so much more understandable! Thank you for that so much! A lot of these people on here don’t want to speak to tell what they’re doing so it makes it so much more harder to follow what they are doing! Thanks for sharing your tutorial! 👍😉

This is the best damn snake knot video on the internet. Fingers are not in the way, your not doing to much talking, and your almost straight to the point from the beginning.
  • @kalejay16
Thank you!! I’ve been scouring the internet all day trying to figure out this know. You made it look so easy.

I love You. Best tutorial ever.😍😍
  • I wish I could reach through the Internet and hug you! With your instructions it took me three or four minutes to create a handle for my dog's leash. Thank you so very much!

Thank you. I watched a couple of other videos on this knot, and the guys made it seem harder than did. Much appreciated.

Thank you for this tutorial easy to understand and follow. I have just made a pair of tiebacks with a 8mm boat cord and they look fantastic. 👌

Thank you so much! ~ I watched a dozen other videos and could not get a consistent group of knots till I found your presentation. My knife is quite happy now. About 26 inches of paracord produces a 9 knot lanyard- fob with tails long enough to tighten it with that can be cut off later.
  • Thank you for the great instruction. Watched the video and that evening I made 5 leather bracelets using the snake knot to secure the button and the closure. Beautiful 🤓 Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️

You are a wonderful teacher. Kind, patient, and warm hearted. It took me long time to figure out this snake knot. You are only one who helped me. Hugs.
  • Amazing...just what I needed...simple, slow easy to understand instructions. Thank you so much.

Absolutely perfect teaching. I’ve tried several videos to no avail until now. Thanks. Especially thanks for holding the music off in the beginning. Music is so distracting to me. Well I’ve got it now. 👍
