I highly recommend watching the Far cry experience, it is a short movie (30 minutes) with Vaas and it ends right where Far Cry 3 starts. It really is worth it.

This game came out at a pivotal time in my life... honestly this game and the journey Jason goes on changed my life

One of the things that makes this game unique among FPS is that the gameplay is canon in a way that Jason saying he killed so many people makes a lot of sense, because you the player did that. Other games like Uncharted portray you as "the hero" even though you are a mass murderer when playing the character, whereas this one makes the protagonist stop and think about what they've been doing.

I had some xp with Motion Capture and love how seriously fluid and accurate are animations, movement and fight choreography - it finally did the cinematic style of the narrative justice. Something that wasn't so obvious for FPS games in the past. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

This was great playthrough and I love how the ending shows how you can make the choice to have Jason stay, and essentially be somewhat like Vaas from my interpretation, or have Jason leave with his friends and do his best to be better than the killer he had to become while on the island. Great vid Sky and glad you had fun.

PLEASE play Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon next. If you're a kid of the 90s, you'll be right at home with it.

Hopefully you check out Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. I personally prefer it to the base game, Amazing Protagonist, killer soundtrack, and just an overall vibe that no other Far Cry game can match.
