If you haven't done the Buffalo Thunder ride in DC, I think it's a must do. I've ridden in it a number of years. Traditionally, it was the same day as Rolling Thunder. Great ride to commemorate the service of black soldiers from the civil war to present.

Don't feel bad Tall...I'm from DC, work in DC and had the same thing happen to me. They're always closing streets where you were. I had to get escorted by the police just to continue to work!!

Been a long time since I have been to D.C. In 1980 I was stationed at Fort Belvoir, VA. Then I was there for Stand in the Gap in 1997 (a Promise Keepers gathering)

I used to hang in DC a lot, late 90s early 2000s on my gsxr. 14th and U, checkers on New York Ave, McDonald's across from Howard U, Hanes Point and Anacostia Park

Been on the Run many times and still got lost twice even with a DC cops direction, your not alone . Seems like every time they have the Run it rains.
