Son Goku, born Kakarot, is the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball metaseries. Goku is a Saiyan male originally sent to destroy Earth as an infant. However, a head injury at an early age alters his memory, ridding him of his initial destructive nature and allowing him to grow up to become one of Earth's greatest defenders. He constantly strives and trains to be the greatest warrior possible, which has kept the Earth and the universe safe from destruction many times.

Slight correction, Goku was sent to earth not to destroy life on it, but to stay safe as clarified and shown in DBS Broly and DB Minus. His aggression most likely was due to being taken away from his parents, though if he didn’t hit his head he would still be more aggressive and less merciful than we know him today

I cannot wait to buy my niece the entire dragon ball series including GT and Super. I'm also going to get her Avatar the Last Airbender series as well I personally think if society doesn't collapse, kids 100s of years from now all across the globe will still be enjoying this masterpiece 💪
