This video hit me with so much nostalgia. As soon as I saw that old intro again, I knew I was in for a treat. The editing style, the old font, the old MatPat cutouts, and the mic quality took me all the way back to when I first discovered this channel, even before the FNaF days. I can’t believe it’s been ten years. Also, I love the references to the 2014 sub counts. That’s true dedication to the bit. Thank you for this gem, and for all the others over the past 10+ years. I always look forward to seeing what you do next.

I cannot believe that matpat went from a small theory channel to a guy that played in a movie just to have a 1 scene cameo and say his iconic line. Trully a legend.

To be completely honest, I'm glad that you've fired up the wayback machine, and gave us a taste of nostalgic pie, because I was so happy to see the old happy, to see the old intro for this channel, I played the intro repeatedly. Dopamine was erupting.

I unironically want more videos like this. as much as i enjoy the new lore heavy videos, the old ones had a level of dumb camp that was oddly refreshing to see return

It's so surreal that MatPat and his team just get out of their way to bring back the old editing style that they should have been in the anniversary videos from last year lol.

The fact that they were able to edit so similarly to what the episodes used to look like 8 years ago is crazy, and really shows the effort they put in. And they tweaked the audio!
