I’d easily have this over the 911. So much more character, more exotic looking, much better sounding.
-
Fantastic video as always. Thank you!
-
3:11 WTF 😀😃😄😆😅😂🤣 I replayed that part too many times. "D
-
Haha I love the ikea analogy.
-
Those wheels are gorgeous.
-
They certainly upped the game in the styling and dynamic department.
-
Finally some better rim designs - hated the old design - now the car looks so much better

Coleman's analogy is great comedy. It's like comparing a flamingo to a Grizzly Bear. I have the exact same cheap IKEA shelves. Yes that thin piece of cardboard does stop the flimsy shelves from flopping around, but it's not a 3800 pound beast that does 5Gs in every direction with a top speed of almost 200 mph.

Excellent video! I really love the styling of the AMG GT. That long hood has such a striking initial impression! Also, I agree with what you're saying about the center console technology updates. While they may be super cool to show off to your passengers, there is less of that tactile feel (which entices you to glance at the center console to ensure you selected the correct thing). All in all, GREAT video of an awesome car. Very entertaining and informative. Well done!

3:00 Reminder for people to not go to Palos Verdes at night time lmao. I remember falling down one of those road dips one time in college. Thought i was going into a black hole. Doesn't help that there are no lights on that road.

Totally agree - the pre facelift interior is MUCH better. The “v8” design is now lost, and the new dials and switches feel really cheap. This is a miss on an otherwise outstanding car.
-
The MB is beautiful!
-
I came for the car but I stayed for the airplanes.

The Colemans part cracked me, especially when his better half opened the door for him lol. You, you good you . . . ;) I love that they gave the C a widebody to distinguish it from the base GT & the S. By the way, did they ever tell you what the C stands for? I completely agree regarding the buttons. Between the buttons and the grille, I prefer the prefacelift GT to be honest. At 180k we're no longer talking Carrera money, that's almost Bentley money! And I can't think of a better GT on sale today than the new Continental (aside from the $350k GTC4Lusso) As always, excellent work, M.

How good is the chrome and red packaging

“Gains on the 911”?! It has SURPASSED the 911. I test drove a 992 911 and it was a COMPLETE BORE complained to my AMG GTC. Thought I would love the 992. Couldn’t wait to return it.

Beautiful car.
-
I think that it the 911 are my dream cars.
-
Last month I drove an AMG GT C and a 911 991.2 back to back along some mountain roads (Colorado).. About 30 miles in each car... I thought the AMG was great .. 'til I drove the 911. The AMG felt like I was driving in the back seat, way too much hood in front. AMG handling was numb and the car felt heavy compared to the 911 and very claustrophobic interior compared to the 911. I'd really never spent much time in a 911 and was so impressed! I think Mercedes has a looong way to go.

Probably the best sports car in the world
