What's on Elon Musk's mind? In this exclusive conversation with head of TED Chris Anderson, Musk details how the radical new innovations he's working on -- Tesla's intelligent humanoid robot Optimus, SpaceX's otherworldly Starship and Neuralink's brain-machine interfaces, among others -- could help maximize the lifespan of humanity and create a world where goods and services are abundant and accessible for all. It's a compelling vision of a future worth getting excited about. (Recorded at the Tesla Texas Gigafactory on April 6, 2022)

Just over a week after this interview was filmed, Elon Musk joined TED2022 for another (live) conversation, where he discussed his bid to purchase Twitter, the biggest regret of his career, how his brain works and more. Watch that conversation here:    • Elon Musk talks Twitter, Tesla and ho...

Despite what the social media and news wants you to think, we can build a great future.

I am 52 yrs old. Listening to the future that Elon will accomplish, makes me sad that I will not live long enough to see the full realization of his endeavors. At the same time, I am VERY HAPPY that I am alive to witness the accomplishments he has already achieved and will achieve in my life time. If I live long enough to witness the first human mission to mars, I will have died a happier man! This man makes me want to live longer! BTW, I was born in 1969. The year we landed on the moon. Maybe I will die the year we land on mars?

This is the best Elon Musk interview I’ve seen. Really nicely done.
  • "If you want the future to be good, you must make it so; take action to make it so, and it will be. " 1:06:00 to the end. I love this man for restoring my faith in humanity.

This was the most important video to watch this year. The pessimism and non action circulating in today's culture has kept us back from a bigger vision and enthusiasm for the future. Let's go claim a better future together.

So far this has been one of the best Elon’s interviews, happy that the interviewer is knowledgeable about Musk’s endeavors and questions are somewhat interesting. It shows respect for Elon’s time.

One thing I like about Elon Musk is his honesty. "I don't wanna blow your mind, but I'm not always right." Great humility in there.

Even when these companies fail, it will just pave the way for new idea's and concepts. Thought and effort is the key. Mr. X

My experience with FSD Beta in a 2020 Model 3 Performance is that it's still not perfect but it's good enough to do about 80% of my driving. I still have to pay attention and take over sometimes but most of the issues are just annoying rather than dangerous. Some would be dangerous if I completely stopped paying attention. It's not good on undivided highways. In that situation, tends to think that a new lane of traffic is opening up every time a turn lane appears so it still changes into it even though I'm trying to continue straight. Until a couple of months ago it took a lot of unnecessary turns. That's rare now. Sometimes it's too cautious so it has trouble catching an exit in time or is slow to leave a stop so I have to hit the accelerator a little. It shows extreme promise and does seem to be on the path to be dramatically better than any other similar product available. The fact that it will work anywhere without premappng or other conditions for use (like the Mercedes system that's called Level 3 but can only drive on premapped highways up to 45 miles per hour) is huge. It should also be noted that an idiot tried to force his way in front of me going left as I went straight 2 months ago and caused some pretty bad front end damage. It took until a week ago for Tesla to take my car in for repair but my car continued to drive very well with Full Self Driving anyway. I happened to not be using FSD when I was hit. I was crossing a divided highway and I was already almost to the divider looking right to monitor the opposite side of traffic when he slammed into me. I would have noticed him in time to stop if I hadn't been looking right so had I been using FSD the accident would have likely been averted since it would have seen him making his moronic move in time to stop.

Watching this video, I have to say that Chris Anderson is an outstanding and amazing interviewer. All questions were totally on point and not only interesting but also different to what we have heard before from Elon. Throughout the interview, one could see the underlying structure and guidance which made it easy to listen and follow along. And one thing that especially stood out: He rarely interrupted but still managed to get all the necessary information while not digressing from the main topics. I watched a 1 hour long interview, enjoyed every second and am stunned afterwards to a point where not writing a comment simply isn't a possibility. That's what interviews should be like. That's quality.
  • @grafando
Interviewer is clearly passionate about the topics. Good questions, good conversation, and good interview. Thank you for this.

Great to see your update to all your projects, always make people inspired or jealous, that’s just ordinary people thinking., but without your new technology, how can we make our people going to those levels, you did best you can to make world peace and bring lots hope to humanity.
  • @ianwong0227
Elon, thank you for what you have done and are currently doing. Thank you, sincerely
  • @tamrawhitney
Definitely the best interview so far. The interviewer was very respectful of Elon and structured his questions in an unbiased way. Very very refreshing!!
  • @balaji-kartha
His message, right at the end, was simple, poignant and to-the-point ..."if you want the future to be good, make it good! Take action"

    The fact is that BTC symbolises the future of cryptocurrency, and traders are wondering if now is the best moment to trade, I feel you should examine the situation more closely before jumping to any conclusion. BTC's price has been fluctuating over the previous days, signaling that the market has become unstable and that is it impossible to anticipate whether it will go bearish or bullish. Others are patient, while others continue to trade with no risk. It all depends on the pattern you're trading and the source of your signal;

If the earth had to have a president to rep our world in a cosmic scale this guy would have to be a candidate!
