Really cool base. I loved the base building in Fallout 4! But I hated how the enemies spawned in the base when you fast traveled to a settlement even though you had a wall around everything.
-
I now have some inspiration for this settlement. I really like the bar bus.

Cool ideas. I love the combination of shack and defence walls. Also the barn blends in well. As for interior design: carpets! And plenty of tables and chairs. Settlers congregate in the evening on chairs and sofas. I love using combinations of candles, lamps and misc stuff like magazines and posters. More is more! I always imagine people in a post apoc setting to surround themselves with nice stuff that takes their mind of the dirtiness

Another cool build. Very intuitive and functional. Thanks for the video and for sharing your thoughts and ideas with us.

The simple expedient of throwing a few rugs down on floors goes a long way to making a place feel alive and lived in, especially if you are not going to do much, if any, other decorating. New sub.

love the lay out and feel of the settlement doing a playthrough of fallout at the moment and your builds are a huge inspiration to build at settlements that i normally wouldn't built at! great video keep it up!

Nice and scrappy, which is the way I like FF4 settlements to be. Considering how much time settlers would have to devote just to survival, defense, hunting, farming, and scavenging, it doesn't make much sense to me when I see a settlement build with brand new walls and equipment. Good job!

Keep it coming bro, love the immersion.

Woop woop, Bar Bus for the win 🏆 nicely done man!

Nice build ! I like your defensive wall a lot and I normally don't like walls ^_^ simple and efficient layout. For your dorms adding a few rugs and plants might help to make them feel a bit more lived in as well a a small cooking place (don't even need a cooking station there just a table a hotplate and a bunch of cooking related junk) Keep up the good work, nice to see that people are still building in vanilla. I miss it but I don't have time to build a full settlement nowadays.

You've inspired me man, this is an excellent build. When I last played I only made my own base at Red Rocket and Hangmans Alley then made a settlement for people at Sanctuary, when I next play the game likely I've Fallout 3 & New Vegas I will be tackling a hardcore playthrough but doing a lot more settlement building. Settlements on a railroad has always interested me and this look is just perfect! Awesome video :)

I don't know if someone said yet, but for putting pictures on walls that just don't work so well, you can either stack the pictures, sometimes anyways, or glitch a flatter wall in. The camp fire can actually be placed inside a building and works like the ground would to allow you to lift and lower things. By doing that you can then glitch the walls into the structures you have without having to remove floors or something. I'd love to see what you'd do at The Castle. Also, and I mean this with the utmost respect, if I hadn't read your bio info already, I would've wondered if you were military because of how you did this build. On that note, thank you for your service and for creating this video and awesome settlement build.

Nice build! Your voice is super soothing also.

This is a cool Yungman base!
-
awesome, love it all!!!!

I never considered making oberland station into a fortified compound. I just build along the tracks but you showcased how the available space is better than a lot of other settlements. I’ll have to take some inspiration from this
-
I think it's the perfect size and amount of detail. I'm not big at all on the post modern glass building type settlements. It would be awesome if you uploaded this to Transfer Settlements. I'm going to look at your other ones now.

Looks good man subbed hope you get big
-
Solid build.

This is great, my OS build is looking really janky, this has been a really good demonstration of what you can do in Fallout 4
