Original songs "Put Your Trust in Our love" and "The Sky is Blue"

I decided to upload two songs of mine,the first song originally titled Say You Will was written and recorded in 2002 this is the original recording. just one track acoustic guitar one track bass one track vocal. it's an oldie of mine I've been listening to some of my old songs I haven't heard in years I figured this one wasn't too bad. second song is a recent one from a little over a month ago I'm working on more songs since my mom died it's been very hard for me she was the most special; person in my life. it's a ballad hope you'll all enjoy it. the sound isn't great playing through the webcam mic,you'll have to put the volume up a bit,not too loud you don't want the people of Mars to hear it. ;)
I included a picture of my mom with her two granddaughters at her birthday party in a restaurant when she was 89,one year before she fell and broke her hip, they were good happier times. the last part is bonus footage of me from 3 years ago I wanted to see how I looked standing up,I never included it in my video. This is a nice surprise,tuning in to Neptune Radio and hearing two great songs:both totally different and with warm stories behind them.I like the name change of the first song:it suits that super uptempo,slightly rock feel and you have clever pauses as a continuation of the song:fading out very well with those words of being so lonely and needing a heart so true..put your trust in the love:you soon discover that you cannot hide what is real.It doesn't matter the time scale of your music:and it sounds fantastic: not bad at all(as you say.) And then you fast forwarded all this time..and the second tells of the raw feelings of needing to see skies blue again:where two hearts feel the same: something beautiful that just will not fade away.Yes:it is the first time we see you with a lovely smile as you stand to attention before looking through the porthole at the cosmos and sharing your thoughts and a super picture of your mother and the family; the heart of incredible beauty.You are sounding a bit more upbeat here:at the same time knowing that feelings are covered behind the painted smiles.This was space viewing at its best and the thumbs are on green for Go Rick go!``

Yaaaaaaaaaay! It's a new Captain Rick video! Get the popcorn and soda, dim the lights and get ready for a great show... forget about Star Wars, I'd rather see this movie! Oh Ricky how special to hear these tunes, an oldie from 2002, you finally broke it out of the vault? I wonder what else you have hidden away.... Fab tune, it has that sunny, carefree sound I love and those graceful chord changes, I never heard anyone do them like you.... then the contrasting strumming and picking patterns.. a graceful bass line deftly weaving throughout (your bass playing is really great, so very musical)... romantic lyrics and a beautiful vocal..... it's amazing how much you pack into four little tracks, you're a one man band! And the second song is so lovely, gently swaying, melancholy but still hopeful...I love the line "I have to start living again". A lovely, tender composition so beautifully played. That's a beautiful pic of your mom at 89, she easily looks 20 years younger, and your beautiful nieces, how nice your family got together to celebrate her birthday. And wow, a special bonus we get to see you standing up. So you have legs then?
