    Cate gives another great performance in this ad. She looks good in red. Cate Blanchett is so intelligent, eloquent and her acting appears so effortless.

    Oh my gosh between Cate Blanchett’s looks and 17-year-old Lesley Gore’s voice and lyrics, this video is one for the decades! Lesley Gore hit stardom in 1963 at age 16 with her first song, “It’s My Party” (#1 on Billboard charts) and produced by the legendary Quincy Jones. Had it not been for the British invasion, “You Don’t Own Me” would have been a second #1 Billboard hit for Lesley Gore. But instead it set for 3 weeks at #2 behind the Beatles, “I Want To Hold Your Hand”. And one can’t say enough about Cate Blanchett. Beauty and talent for the ages! Makes for an awesome combination! Wonder if these two amazing women ever got a chance to meet? I know Lesley Gore passed away in February 2015. Way too soon.
