  • There isn't one thing mentioned here that is exclusive to Arlington. Everything mentioned you will experience just by living in the DFW Metroplex
  • Just moved to Arlington from San Francisco and love the peace and space. Crime is much lower here than back at home
  • If you go through HUD for the 1st time buyer help, Arlington Matches up to $20,000 deposit for a home…..🎉
  • I agree with the new build situation. I was looking for a new build home in Arlington but the closest I could find is towards Mansfield and I don’t want to drive that far to work since I work in North Arlington. I found a new build community by David Weekley in Far East Fort Worth so that is where I am building. This still lets me be close to my job.

I’ve been in Arlington over 20 years and NEVER had a electricity problem…now the traffick is stupid bad!
  • I worked in Arlington. I personally like it. I go there often to shop and eat when I can.

What a very negative review. There are more pros about Arlington. There are more fine dining places you failed to mention. Arlington is a great place to live especially if you love sports. Has very well maintained parks, centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth. The city has good leadership and cares about the community. Arlington has one the top business and engineering schools around, UTA.

It seems that you left out the fact that the City of Arlington is one of if not the biggest suburb in the US. Despite being a suburb of Fort Worth, Arlington itself has suburbs (Pantego, Dalworthington Gardens, etc). (1) Weather? Really? Nobody can control the weather, and all of DFW deals with the same weather as Arlington. (2) To your point, Arlington doesn't really have a downtown area. Crime in Arlington is pretty on-par with the averages across the rest of North Texas. (3) Good food doesn't ONLY come with "fine dining". Also, there are plenty of upscale fine dining restaurants in many adjacent municipalities. This point is essentially null due to the fact that Arlington has 3 major entertainment venues and LOTS of restaurants in the immediate area. (4) Arlington DID have power issues, but that was like 15 years ago. You used to be able to sneeze just the right way and the power would go out. That's NOT the case anymore. It's a lot more stable. Besides, that's an ONCOR problem, not an Arlington problem. (5) Traffic?!?! Yeah, like any other major city, it's bad, but it's definitely improving. And all that construction you mentioned...it's all to ease traffic in the area. (6) Every city/suburb has homes with a wide variety of age. Arlington is no different. If you want to bring this point up about Arlington, you should bring it up about literally every city everywhere.

Weather a reason ? High traffic volume a reason? Being between Dallas and Fort Worth and all the entertainment a reason ? Crime ? Well, I guess I move to the Bahamas ? Or not, because they have weather as well. i think painting this picture of Arlington did not turn out too well because in my Arlington neighborhood reside mostly very happy "campers".
  • Keela do you assist with helping ppl in second chance leasing?
  • So where would you suggest to move to in texas 🤷🏽‍♀️
  • @Hallie-dr7tu
You should pros and cons about pantigo next. Please do it there's so many good things
  • Hi Keela I google Grandview Texas is diversity What are the safest cities in TX to relocate in?
  • You failed to mention gridlock due to an event/game at AT&T stadium and a game/concert at the Ranger stadium
  • Some facts are true but some are cap I live in Arlington for 25 years and some of that never happens
  • @sandeesk1
Well those are not very many cons. Arlington TX is a smaller suburb city in the middle of Dallas and Fort Worth So what you cannot find in Arlington you will find in the bigger cities, Dallas or Fort Worth. Each city is thirty minutes away going East and West of Arlington. It is a good central location in between two big cities. Arlington does have a lot of old housing but there are many other mini suburb cities that have new housing development close to the Arlington area.
