From Duluth, Minnesota, USA, the Trapp family certainly make a big impression. Mom and Dad Kristine and Scott Trapp, along with their daughters Molly and Savanna and son Adam, have an average height of 203.29cm (6 ft 8.03 in).

"To be able to hold this record would be a tremendous honour for our family. We have always been proud of our height and want to represent height in a positive way."

  • Average height of the Trapp family = 203.29 cm (6 ft 8.03 in)! How does your family compare?
  • Since I don’t see the comment I’m looking for, here it is: Dad is 6’8”, Mom is 6’3”, brother is 7’3”, sisters are 6’8” and 6’6”.

Imagine what it would be like to marry into that family, you'd probably look like a pet more than anything
  • They seem like a great family. I'm going to show this to my 6' tall 12 year old daughter so she can see tall women embracing their height.
  • @mercka4583
imagine being so tall and yet your family still calls you "shorty"
  • Such an amazing sweet family… nothing wrong with being tall or short …we are all human beings that deserve respect and compassion from one another..
  • The top of their refrigerator has to be sparkling clean, I would imagine.
  • @hamod4555
this new attack on titan episode looks very realistic
  • @simobonev4511
This is so wholesome! Well done for highlighting some of the struggles tall people experience with everyday environment.
  • @MsAj90
What a nice family ! Thank you for letting us meet the Trapps. Very humble and kind human beings.
  • Imagine being taller than 99% of the population and still being called "short"
  • @paulwright6044
Imagine being Adam's middle school classmate and teasing him about his height--at 6' 1" tall. You break for summer. Then you see him on the first day of eighth grade, at 7 feet tall...
  • @A_Realist
I bet there’s a family in Sudan somewhere that would put them to shame as far as height goes
  • @ogbunno
Such a cool family. Thanks for sharing your story Trapp Family. Hope the fashion industry starts making clothes for taller people more accessible. That can be such a chore not being able to find anything that properly fits.
  • @hereiamha
    eldest sibling: 6’8 middle: 6’6 youngest: 7’3 father: 6’8 mother: 6’3
  • imagine them passing through as a family in the airport in asia lmao
  • I think it’s so cool how the daughter is teaching her students that there is more to a person than just their height etc 👏🏾
  • I am 4'11" and people may be surprised at how similar our (short people that is) struggles are with very tall people. Things not made with short (or tall) people in consideration: kitchen counters, bathtubs, chairs that supposedly support the lumber area - haha -, the way shelves are stocked esp. in the grocery store, the height of the table in many restaurants (I'm having chest compressions) and don't even talk about toilets. We, short people, do have one advantage. We actually can stretch our legs out on an airplane. One thing though about my perspective on tall people. After about 5'5", y'all are just tall. I can never judge exact height after that.
