I think anas biggest issue is her reload time, it genuinely feels that your team can get folded like a table in the downtime of her healing
  • I'd honestly be very happy if they gave Ana a climbing ability. I can't tell you how many times I'll be playing and my friends will tell me to take the high ground as Ana, but I have to walk halfway across the map and through the valley of the shadow of death just to find a staircase that gets me to a high ground that covers an area the team is already past.
  • 'More healing than both of their supports combined'. Fuck me dead, that's relatable.

I am amaze how Kiriko has affected the state of the game so much, people can't stop including her as an important variable in their analytics about competitive/gameplay topics.
  • has twice the healing than the enemy team My tank and dps: silence has 1,000 less healing than enemy team My Tank and dps: "oh my God. Support diff."
  • @ItsNazu
This video shows exactly why we should keep nerfing genji
  • @akhelundar931
They successfully made players feel like a mom playing her
  • You would have jumped in with Doom as Kiriko, he would have died ANYWAY and you would have gotten melted with him right after. That's usually how that goes. :p

I stopped playing Ana for myself and now I play Brigitte to protect the poor Anas of the world from flankers. Those moments where I'm beating a Kiriko to death after the DPS she was pocketing got wiped are the moments where I feel truly alive.

Bruh, that line about doing more healing then both the enemies supports, I felt that. I had games where the other team had 2 supports and I would more heals then them both, anywhere from 10-12k healng. Those games where rough.

This reminds me a lot of the "how it feels" videos, and it's a huge compliment I love the fact that you talk about the things that actually happen, like no one being in vc in a low rank Your content is great i hope you keep it up, and the upload schedule in relation to quality is great also
  • the reason I think ana is so fun is because when your not getting flank killed into oblivion, it feels like your playing doom, just shooting everything that moves. It's like your fighting both teams at once.

I get EXACTLY what you were saying. The satisfying sleeps needing observation haki, the healing in chunks, ALL of it. I've been trying to change how I play Ana a bit, making her a bit of a nuisance for the enemy. My nades are usually for blocking off enemy healing, forcing their kiriko to use Suzu (if they have it), just to make her a bit more offensive. And really trying to play corners, etc
  • 2 things, I feel like it's generally hard to estimate where you're supposed to be with ana on different maps. One good piece of advice I heard was to constantly reposition the second opponents either know where you are or are clearly ready to focus on you, it works. But even with that in mind, there are situations where she just doesn't work. My second thing is that your doomfist was, in fact, in the wrong. If playing overwatch 1 means good gamesense and ow2 means picking meta characters (kiriko, making sure a player of your choice doesn't suffer any consequences for clearly bad play since 2022), then I feel like I'm missing out on ow1. edit: maybe hanzo next?

6:21 this is probably the best explanation for why i main ana i have ever heard.
  • @ElGatto-iu4mo
I want to hear you talk about sombra tbh, shes always been an interesting character to me
  • @wildfire6859
As a big Reaper player I’m happy to know all those stealth kills on Ana’s make them more paranoid
  • @shanecoffing
Honestly ana is really good. Or you wouldn't see her played at the highest level. The thing is a lack of mobility is her biggest flaw, but it's also a necessary one. A good ana with 100% up-time always landing shots will heal more than any other support (except maybe a Moira but different story) and has 2 of the most powerful abilities in the game (seriously anti-nade is better than some ultimates) If she has mobility she would be completely broken blowing every other support out of the water. However, with longer cooldowns ana has a lot of ability downtime. This makes her strong points VERY STRONG. But her weak points REALLY WEAK. With how 1 tank is, being protected is much less common, so using sleep dart for anything other than defense feels like walking around with your pants down. Think it is just a case of a very fair and we'll designed kit in a game where reworks and newer charecters are becoming more and more overloaded. Strong, but not OP
  • You hit the nail on the head with how I feel when playing Ana in OW2 vs OW1 and why I'm more regrettably inclined to switch to a support with much more movement and easier survivability. As for DPS I suggest Hanzo, imo he's in a weird state right now and I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

"Everytime I play Ana I feel like someone is always watching me" INSTANT understanding of how you feel 😂😀😢 - a fellow support main
