Music is a little loud and distracting.
  • I live in LA, and the non-native palm trees are kinda an issue. We grow them incorrectly by planting them as a single when they are supposed to grow in clusters for more root support. AND those 100 yo palm trees are now as tall as a 15-20 story building and not very sturdy.

Definitely Paris surprised me the most. No Stop signs in a big busy city like that??!

7:19 every time I see this building I think of ice cream, because an ice cream shop that I used to go to had pictures on the walls of famous buildings with ice cream somehow incorporated into them, and this building had soft serve swirls as the tops.

Palm trees not being native to Los Angeles surprised me. However in a city known as being fake anyway it makes sense. I hope the innocent residents there can regain control.

3:48 That reminds me of the Araby Bazaar in the short story "Araby" by James Joyce.

That story is from the book Dubliners (1914).

Urban topics? I took an underground tour in Seattle, and I think if ya'll did a video about the city, it would be cool. There were a lot of issues dealing with their sewer system or lack there of 😅

The other weird thing about palm trees is that they are not classified as trees they have their own final classification

Love the stunning beauty of greenery in Singapore. I wish our local city council would allow that! I’d like to know more about the rivers we’ve strangled into “submission”. Especially where we’ve stopped the natural flow of the CO river into Mexico. I’m sure it can’t be the only example of rivers being completely cut off from original flow via er, piracy to screw over communities

2:51 The single "London Calling" by The Clash was released the date I was born.

It is "from the band's double album of the same name." (wikipedia)

Singapore is like taking some of the best Chinese and Japanese ideas and putting into one city-state.
