This is a olive wood cheese board, I wanted to show how I do layers on a flat surface. One question I do get about resin is whether or not it can be used on a cutting board. The important thing to know about resin is that it is scratch and UV resistant, not scratch and UV proof. I do not recommend putting resin on a cutting board with the purpose of cutting on the resin. This however is a charming cheese board/tray that would be beautiful on a kitchen island, or coffee table with snacks for guests! hope you enjoy!

  • Genuinely appreciate that you left the oops moment with the heat gun nozzle in. So often tutorial videos don't let on that accidents always happen and lead beginners and intermediates alike feeling like failures instead of reassuring us that we can fix it.

Am I the only one who stopped breathing when the heat gun attachment fell off?😯
  • You are so underrated.. the amount of effort and time you give.. you are a true artist ❤️

Some of the most realistic waves I’ve seen! Well, besides the real ones! LOL. Just beautiful! Thank you.

Thank you (from the bottom of my heart) for this tutorial. I have not even purchased one product/tool/item having to do with resin yet. I still trying to get all the questions that are running around my head answered, and your tutorial answered so many. I gasped when the attachment fell but was so glad to see that the whole project was not a total loss. I often wondered how to protect the project when you have to let it sit for 24 hours - it was nice to see what you used to cover it. None of the other videos that others have made have shown this part of the process. Thank you once again.

Found this by researching realistic water for dioramas. None of the diorama creators I've watched so far, about 15 of them, have incorporated techniques you are using. This has me thinking that even more realistic effects can be achieved in dioramas by doing just that, meld effects from both disciplines. Inspiring work and thank you for sharing.
