I can confirm how cool Zakk is. At one of the Ozzfests, Zakk was at one of the signing/meet Booths. My girlfriend was having back problems, so she was going around in a wheelchair. She was extremely self conscious about it. We were third in line, when she came up to say hi, he hopped over the table and gave her a huge hug from behind. Got a pic and after that, she was in heaven. Kept calling Zakk her other boyfriend and kept mentioning how nice he smelled.

True to the music. The People's Band, and a genuine human being. We are fortunate for BLS. Thanks Zakk, and can't thank you enough for your music, your unwavering commitment, and for continuing to give us the baddest-assed Rock n' Roll made today!

"If you don't like losing, then you ain't gonna lose." A lot of wisdom in that phrase. It should be written down as one of Zakk Wylde's Ten Commandments.

Always love Zakk's interviews. He's got old school stories and jokes. His attitude about sobriety has helped me as well. Just having the mind set of "that's it, no more" has helped me rely on myself instead of others. (I have 1 year and 5 months on the wagon now too) Always enjoy video's with Zakk. Thanks Jim and Sam!

Zakk walked into the tiki bar several summers ago as my duo was playing. He went to the back section to have lunch and we contemplated whether to bother him or not. We finally walked back and said hi and the dude could not have been cooler. Super nice. Funny. What a tremendous experience it turned out to be.👍👍

Back in the day, when we where both young men we would both frequent the same bar. It was a little hole in the wall called The Valencia Room and then later it was changed to Winston's Pub. He would usually come in with his manager but other times he would show up with some of his friends from Hollywood. This was back before Ozzy when he was clean cut or relatively so anyways. Sometimes he would come in with the bassist from the band White Lion and others from various hairbands. It wasn't uncommon on a weekend night for him and who ever was with him to get up on stage when the house band was on a break and just take over. There where restrictions on how load bands could play because of the surrounding businesses but when ever he got up to play the amps would go straight to 11. He always had a strong stage presence. He would command the stage which was in contrast to how he was (at that time anyways) any other time just sitting at the bar having a beer minding his own business. I remember him telling me about landing the gig with Ozzy. It was definitely the launch pad of his career. It's funny the changes we make over the years until we wind up being who we are. Seeing Zach now and comparing him to how I remember him he has certainly gone through some of those changes. But so have I.

I had no idea Zakk was such a cool guy. Makes me an even bigger fan of his.
  • Zakk Wylde is one of the few (maybe only) shred guitarists who is as cool when he speaks as you think he is when he's playing.

Got to see Mr. Wylde a couple weeks ago in Dallas. I love Ozzy and he looks great for almost 70 but Zakk took the show to another level. Keep up the great work Mr Wylde and congrats for going clean....I'm on 2 years myself.

Zakk is awesome..love and respect him to bits. I had the pleasure of meeting him back in 06 with B.L.S, we spoke about both Randy's (Rhoads & Castillo), Ozzy and the productions of significance at the time etc and he was as genuine and warm as we see him today, instantly greeting me with a big hug and hand clutch like i was a life long pal rather than just another guy meeting one of his biggest inspirations and influences..and that tone of his voice..priceless experience and my administration for him has stayed rock solid coz examples like this brilliant video/conversation truly show Zakk being exactly the same all these years later, musician, rock star, significant entertainer/celebrity aside, Zakk is a genuinely humble, respectful and positive energy who is our equal and that will always stand out for me..all of these traits and attributes combined make him a true inspiration! Love ya brother Zakk..all the respect in the world from your pal and English brother..Neill.A. God bless Randy and Randy..Amen! SDMF. Perth, Oz.
