To say it's been a rough 2022 for Pink Energy is putting it lightly. Now all of its employees are without jobs as the company, formerly known as PowerHome Solar, closed effective immediately.

Not to mention their sales men are going around calling people the N word.

We have a solar system. When we were researching installers, PowerHome solar/pink energy came out and gave us a presentation. After the annoying salesman left, I told my husband "not them!". He agreed. The presentation felt like they were trying to sell us a time share. It was so over the top and slimy.

Surprised it lasted that long. What a POS company, their extremely annoying ads are probably a good part of why they went under also, besides the lies. Good riddance.
  • He was just buying time to get his money where the government couldn't touch it. The sales reps made commission. They made very good money. I've worked for a company like this. Once the company goes under your warranty is shot.

I knew this guy was a scam from the first time I saw his TV commercials.
  • Hey he was just a con-artist who thought he wasn't going to get caught....he took advantage of people I hope they take him to court and take him for everything and put him into jail

Awesome, just had a system installed by them last year. Now what? Who will do my warranty work now?
  • Wasn't because of his story, it was from complaints and investigations in about 15 states. Carolinas Georgia, Texas, Florida, Michigan, Missouri etc.

I lasted all of the layoffs and I’m going to consult a lawyer tomorrow morning because there was no notice and the warm act requires 60 days if there was 33% or 500+ employees laid off with no notice.

Jason Waller YOU'RE IN THE HALLLLLLLL-OF-SHAMEEEEEEE😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  • For Jason claiming he is a billionaire, his tailor really sucks. That is one of the most Ill fitting suits I’ve ever seen.

Just an update on Waller. He's currently trying to be a business coach, motivational speaker and podcast host. To which he's lying on all 4 of those.
  • I think behind the scenes, jayson waller said 'screw those customers, go ahead and sue us.' Well, now they are suing that little rat from every direction hahaha

Any good licensed journeyman electrician can design a good solar system that can be installed and activated for far less than most solar power companies can. Typically at one third to one half the cost. I have been told by the owner of the company I have used for over 20 years that having unqualified people installing these systems can easily lead to what he called “premature failure”. I have come to the conclusion that much of the problem is that the installers have little or no experience as electricians at any level. Were I to have solar installed, I would approach a good electrical contractor, not a solar system sales company. Time for more coffee.
