Thanks for the demo. I have been trying to find a contractor to fix mysoffits, squirrels have ripped them out but no one wants to do small jobs. I,m pretty good at doing repairs myself For a retired woman and now I’m going to do it.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I recently bought my first house and it doesn’t have any soffit vents on it. Only plywood at around 15 degree angle with 4 vents on each side, front and back. This video made it not seem so hard for someone who has no idea on any sort of remodeling. Thank you!

This is a great video! I’ve had to rebuild things a handyman did wrong- or finish jobs because the next guy doesn’t show up. From now on I’ll just YouTube and do it all myself! Thank you for this one- birds are pulling out insulation or nesting inside because my guy just can’t seem to get back for 2 weeks to put it up. I’ll do it myself now that I see how!!

Thanks. My house had been constructed and they used staples to attach the soffits. Some have pulled loose. Had someone come out and they wanted $750 to fix a few droopy J channels. Your video motivated me to do it myself.
