I love that the description of zero-g breech loading implies that all guns on Super Earth ships are muzzle loaded

Gatling Barrage also scales better the more you have on the team! While Napalm and Gas don't seem to stack with themselves, 4 GB will will be that much more destructive!

This thing went to "meh" to "absolute gold". This thing is incredible now and you can bring it against anything, a very safe, easy to use, fast and low CD jack-of-all-trade. And you can kill titans with it too.

Gatling is also very useful during extracts where the environment forces the incoming patrols into a choke point or bunch up around terrain.

I bring this and the humble machine gun sentry on most missions now. My ship is fully upgraded so the up time on these two feels permanent. If I need them.and they aren't up, they are coming very soon.

Gatling + airburst + gas = total bug destruction

I like to combo it with the orbital 120 mm barrage and/or the airburst strike. Those tend to kill anything that happens to make it through the Gatling barrage.

Ruuning barrage + spear against bots is super fun. A lot of bots barely survive a spear & finishing them off with the barrage is super easy and hits more things with conserving spear ammo

I tried it out after the patch, but was only so-so on it. However, I did not know what it's radius was, and hadn't thought through the implications of its reduced cooldown time, so I think I may give it another go, and use it much more heavily.

Orbital Gatling got a lot of love this update, but I’d like to see more changes to the orbitals. A change I’ve thought of is to reclassify the airburst strike to an airburst barrage. 2 options it could be done, either a simple classification change to allow “more guns” to apply, or rework it to act more like the 120mm and cluster bomb combined (maybe a future stratagem??)

Orbital EMS bug breaches then barrage it, they are up at the same time constantly and you just completely hold down the hole.

Does anyone else love running orbital airburst and orbital gatling at the same time and always having a horde clear off cooldown?

I run 500's, gatling barrage, gas strike, and Spear on the majority of the bug missions. Honestly, if they reduced the Orbital Precision strike down to like 85-ish seconds, i'd run that over the 500KG's and swap the gas strike to Eagle Napalm. But, the OGB puts in work. Definitely the best update in the patch . It would have been the Spear, but that is still broken.
