My dog and me relax to this soulful cello. He starts snoring within a couple of minutes. He is not in tune.
  • To the person reading this, Good Luck! Don't stress, everything will be fine. No matter what difficulty you are facing right now, you can overcome it! You are strong and brave

It's like only today I really noticed that it's autumn, yes it's autumn and it's the first day of November. They say that with age comes wisdom. This month, in 24 days, I turn 66 and feel no wiser than I did 50 years ago. I'm probably broken. When I woke up this morning it was still dark outside, raining and windy. I opened the window wide and felt the wind on my face and the cold drops of rain. The leaves were spinning madly in a syncopated Dacian dance. I made a cup of tea and opened my laptop with the intention of playing a game of chess. I don't know exactly how long I've been listening to this cello wonder. It's like I'm floating and time has stopped for the first time in my life. My soul vibrates and my cheeks are wet even though I left the window a long time ago. Thank you!

My friend in the 90's was a student at the Royal Academy of Music. She was a cellist and it was then I really appreciated the mournful, soulful depths of this instrument in the hands of someone with a heart and soul. I miss you Elizabeth....Lost touch across the water but always remember the beautiful music that echoed through the halls of the hostel we lived at in Nottinghill Gate, London. This is so beautiful and moving. Thank You so much.

It's amazing how the lower tones and chords communicate better with us...

In March my brother Jeff was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We lost him yesterday. I can feel him in every piece of this.
  • Listening to classical music can be a form of meditation. It's a way to escape the chaos of the modern world and find a sense of serenity and balance in the intricate melodies and harmonies.
  • I'm a cellist and I think the cello makes the most beautiful sound in the world. So deep, so rich. Hollywood seems t agree. If you listen to the music of films, cello has taken over.
  • My daughter is an accomplished violinist, and I love listening to her play, but the cello vibrates better with me due to its lower tones. Thanks for your masterful contributions

Iโ€™ve been playing violin for a bit now, but once I joined the orchestra Iโ€™ve always wished I chose the cello, itโ€™s so beautiful and angelic

this is the cello sound I was searching for. Indeed, it is emotional and sentimental. I don't know why, I feelt it in my soul. thank you.

That painting really goes well with the music. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐ŸŽต ๐ŸŽป
  • I am acceptable at the viola, but there is just a way that the cello calms me, and how much true emotion there is and how it can set us in the mood. This is not sound, this is pure art.

There is something about a cello that reaches deep inside.
