I like how Colin makes these videos like a tutorial. Like anyone else on the planet is going to do this
  • Meeting Mrs. Furze for the first time put a smile on my face, knowing that she is supportive of what you are doing here. Can’t wait for more!

Am I the only one who would really appreciate a video of just Colin explaining how the fuck he gets all the planning permission and permits and everything. Just a pure, unadulterated, hardcore admin video 😂
  • @Outsider0x1
Honestly props to this man's wife for being so cool and putting up with all his antics. Guess the saying is true, behind every great man. Is an even better woman.
  • It’s so respectable that when Colin messes up, makes mistakes or has accidents, he not only doesn’t get angry/upset but sees the humour in the situation and laughs about it. Life is so much more joyful when you live it with that mindset! 🙏🏻☺️

For anyone wondering that electric cable is called a pilc cable, paper insulated lead covered. when new it would of been covered by hessian wrap coated in bitumen but over the years it has gone brittle and clumpy with mud under the hessian are normally steel tape armours but can come without or as we call it plain lead. Under the armours is another hessian wrap coated in bitumen once again you can cut it off with a knife normally when that’s off ya heat the bitumen till it goes like a liquid and clean it off with paraffin wipes too nice clean lead. Then with a plastic hack knife we normally do this live too ring round the lead then hammer the hacknife down the lead to remove it. Once removed there are papers impregnated with a paraffin wax and that is the insulation wrapped around the live cores and the neutral. That cable is probably between 50 and 60 years old and once you get down to it’s as good as the day it was put in. The plastic stuff we use nowadays isn’t as good.

Colin,I would highly recommend you to put a 100mm conduit/pvc pipe (x2 preferably) (or a ductway),encased in the concrete between the house and your front fence mate.(If you haven’t already thought of it).I’m a sparky and if you ever have to upgrade the electrical mains etc. at a later date, you’ll be glad you did. Cheers mate Love your work.

The one thing I think that I've learn from this, is that it turns out Alfred and Bruce could have totally made a Batcave in secrecy by themselves without needing all those contractors after all.
  • @Zargon2854
This guys work ethic is unreal, planning building, cleaning so much effort is put into this project.
  • @justinolson9678
God bless that wonderful woman who has your back for all the antics throughout the years. Good to see a bit of her in a video. She's a real one!
  • Install a dehumidifier in your tunnel / underground garage to keep the moisture tuned up
  • @xliquidflames
If there is ever a zombie apocalypse, I want Colin on my survival team. Not necessarily for his bunkers but for his brain. The dude can build anything from scratch.
  • I love that he’s so good at hiding the maths and engineering behind these projects that we can all sit here watching the video and think “I could do that”.
  • @callumgreeeny
Just imagine the estate agents looking round the house when Colin decides to sell the house
  • @EUKBIKER
For the condensation, just install a breather vent. Along a area of highest point at the edge put a vent that goes up to the surface with vent slits so you can shut the vent if you want. Then like a firebox chimney up top have about 2ft of pipe and a cap like what they use on factory warehouses. With it poking out your garden you could hide it in a plant box.
  • @4RILDIGITAL
Colin, your vision and execution are always a marvel to watch! Turning a dream into reality requires so much creativity and pure grit, and you're showing just that in this incredible series - a true secret garage masterpiece in the making! Can't wait to see the final result. Keep the updates coming!
