Leave it to the female anchor to whine about Caitlin bringing a sold out crowd to Phoenix to watch a WNBA game.
  • @thesb2836
She is complaining that fans didn't pack the arena before CC arrived. She has bitter envy like many wnba players
  • @miclovin9927
You're right they came to see Kaitlyn Clark they didn't come to see the Phoenix Mercury😂
  • @JS-nk4tn
Why didn't games sell out until last night? Caitlin is a mega star because she's classy and has a high BB IQ.
  • @sulleys1929
Caitlin Clark got a standing ovation when she walked off the court AT AN AWAY GAME! It is crazy how popular Caitlin Clark is!
  • @jdneely9939
Clark payed the game sick n with migraine, still did all that RESPECT!!!

Don’t whine Lina. No one has seen someone play at her level consistently with grace and power who isn’t petty or arrogant but humble and grateful for er opportunities. She has endured so much pressure and hate and has responded with kindness and grace and gone out to each game and played… played injured, played taking some hard knocks, but she has played like the phenom she is and hasn’t blamed or hated on anyone in return. She represents the heart of what Americans ARE! Not the whiny weak BS going on with the rich elite including celebs and politicians, the socialist democrat party and the woke ignorant sheep that follow woke MSM. Play the sport and show good sportsmanship and it may help pull in more diverse fans… but as it stands Caitlin Clark represents America! Strong, humble, faithful and lethal when provoked.

Chill out lady. We don’t care about past 20 years or any of those dinosaur turasi types. This is like saying, people didn’t care about those thick brick phones before iPhone and we should all respect and buy them.
  • @MidAtlanticTV
That dude actually said it’s because of a long list of players that came before CC. Here’s a reality check for this dude. Nobody cared about the WMBA before CC. Nobody. I hope that’s clear enough.

I saw a little girl wearing a Phoenix Mercury jersey and geeking over Caitlin Clark signing her basketball. She was hugging that ball as if it was found treasure.
  • Yea it's only Caitlin, quit fooling yourself that the others have made any impact to the wnba
  • There were a lot of CC 'new' fans there that are spending exponentially more money than the 'old fans'. Ticket prices significantly higher for this game and a packed house. CC needs to be given more credit by the players and others for this.
  • Always a black woman taking the shine away from Clark... not surprised.
  • @conlanding
The attendance of 17,071 was the largest crowd in the Diana Taurasi era in Phoenix that began in 2004 and it happened against Caitlin Clark.

I'm only interested in Caitlin Clark and not the other players. A strong fan base requires effort from the players to build it, just as Caitlin Clark has done. Are you listening Lina Washington!:face-blue-smiling:

Some of these women act like they are stuck on stupid. They may have been talented and in a mercury uniform, but they could not sell out arenas. No one is interested in them. Those fans comes out to see Caitlin. Plain and simple. You cannot tell the fans who to spend their dollars on. And Caitlin did not bring them with her, many of them were local. Jealousy is hell.
