*Updates:* The memorial to the Apollo 1 crew has been installed near the gravesites of Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee in section 3, not at the location shown in this video. I covered this in a subsequent video,    • Arlington National Cemetery | Astrona...

I have added the names of other notable gravesites that I visit in the video, including Medal of Honor recipients Pappy Boyington and Audie Murphy. In the video I incorrectly referred to them as "winners" of the Medal of Honor. Learn more at www.cmohs.org/.

Death is such a hard thing to deal with. The caretakers of Arlington National Cemetery are doing a wonderful job of honoring these heroes.

Much respect and gratitude for our brave men and women who have served our nation well. Thank you and GODSPEED🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
  • Thank you for making this video. I was particularly struck by the simplicity of Audie Murphy's tombstone. That modesty is much more becoming than something grandiose.

I remember when they interviewed Laurel before the launch. she said when she got back she would have a story to tell I wanted to here her story. may they all forever R.I.P.

Such an unremarkable gravestone for the late, great John Glenn. Probably just the way he wanted it.

I often think of lifespan of people in cemeteries. Its amazing how quickly all are born, live, die on this rock. Think about it. in 100 years 99.9999% of us will wind up here. In just 100 years therefore EVERYBODY that you knew during your entire lifetime will be gone (along with you). In fact only half of us globally will celebrate our 60th year. Nope we are not here for very long.
  • Have you visited the x-15 pilot Scott cross field here??
